Harry POV

Everyone in the room was silent except for Harry. He was babbling and whining, pleading with me to kiss him but I was literally frozen on the spot. Caroline face was scrunched up looking like a squashed melon.

“What the fuck is going on here” she fold her arms across her front while staring at me and harry. I know that posture. She was holding back from bursting out. “Nothing is going on Car-“I stated bluntly while still holding a whining Louis.

“Do you think I’m stupid” she forced the words out through her gritted teeth “I mean look at that” she continued pointing out the position me and harry were in. If I had walk in on her in a position like this with another man I wouldn’t think of it as nothing. “Do you really call that nothing” I sighed unwrapping Louis arms from around me which made a frown appear on his absolutely gorgeo- Ugh. I have got to stop these thoughts. His face began to scrunch up and his eyes changed from happy to hurt?

Wait a minute. Why would me moving away from him affect him this much. I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts and walked over to Caroline while Liam went over to a whimpering Louis grabbing him into a bear hug. He began to whisper sweet quotes in Louis ears and for some reason that made me want to eat Liam head off. I was jealous. But why was i? I mean I had Caroli-

I HAD…what the hell is going on with me. I sighed again and hugged Caroline who remained stiff in my embrace. I pulled her away then looked straight into her eyes. “Hey Caroline; I love you and only you, ok. Harry is high from the painkillers the doctors gave him and he tends to be very giggly and weird. Therefore think of it as nothing. What you just saw when you stepped into the room was me and my best mate talking in a friendly position and that’s it”. Louis gasped while Liam snorted and looked up at me with a look of disappointment while shaking his head. I turned back to Caroline and rubbed my hands down her upper arm softly “Nothing more or nothing less” I cupped her cheeks then kissed her passionately. But to be honest, the kiss felt as if I was kissing a piece of stiff paper.

Caroline smiled and looked up at me “okay Har- I believe you” she grabbed my face and kiss me again. From the kiss I could tell that she didn’t believe me. Shocked I pulled away from her “you still don’t believe me, do you?” she smiled innocently at me and shook her head. Louis giggled and I turned to him with a look that silenced him. “Tell Car- the truth Louis. Tell her how we were do-“    I was cut off by Louis who was shaking. It looked like he was trembling and I immediately thought he was about to jump into a seizure and so did the other boys who were now gathered up around him.

“Oh my gosh Louis. Are you okay?” Liam who was standing closest to Louis asked worriedly but Louis continued to shake. I was about to go call a doctor when Louis burst out laughing. We all looked at him weirdly but remembered he was high on painkillers. He grabbed the pillow and forced his face into it trying to control his laughter.

“Jesus Christ Louis, don’t scare us like that again” Liam exclaimed with an angered but also relief look on his face, but Louis continued to laugh. We stood there looking at the lad waiting for him to calm down. He looked so cute with the crinkles that show up at the corner of his eyes every time he smiles genuinely and truthfully. I looked up at the other lads to see Liam looking like a worried papa, niall looking his normal carefree self and zayn smiling down at Louis with his phone still videoing Louis.
