''Mom please...I need to go please...''

''Aaron, a no means a no.''

Aaron is kneeling. He is literally kneeling on the floor, only one step away from begging as he clasps his hand together, making a fist. This was the last option, and he uses it.

''Mom...I need to go to school tomorrow. I know that it's the last day before the weekend but I still need to go. Mom just....please.''

'' My God, Aaron. I mean...when you were young you did everything to skip school and now...'' Mrs. Reeves says while unbuttoning her apron, '' you are dying to go to school.''

He is not the young Aaron now. He is not even the Aaron he was a week ago.

''Hmmph. Okay, alright. You win. But if I see another letter of some sort..''

Aaron tries to run before he stood up from kneeling, causing him to slip on the ground but he manages to balance, and rushes out of the kitchen just as his mother mutters, ''God...this kid..''.

Aaron is lying there,  feeling rejuvenated after that long, delightful shower. He tunes in to the radio, and applies balm to where Shae punched him 4 times in a row. As the music plays, it gives him room to imagine Shae's guilt-filled face before punching him, and this thought punches right inside his chest. The music suddenly stops as his phone beeps with a message.

'' Meet me tomorrow at the stairs. Shae.''

Aaron drops his phone like it was Samsung Galaxy Note 7 ; about to explode. It falls on the carpet so the battery doesn't separate, and the screen is still flashing the message, with the name in it; a name he may never want to hear again. Yet, Aaron remembers the good times when Shae wasn't really btchy: as to how he prevented Malcolm from beating him and how he spared him even after his (blank) attitude at the parking lot before. He is one cute devil, he says to himself. Picking up the phone, Aaron replies with a soft 'ok' ,  but then remembers school is forbidden for him until next week.

He comes up with every consequences with the 'ok' he sent. If he texts him back with a ' Wait, no, sorry'  , he may escape Shae's conspiracy of assaulting him again. Moreover , he might have even convinced Irina not to talk to him anymore. This thought makes Aaron go pale, but he reminds himself, it just a thought; but what if it becomes real?  Aaron presses the 'Options' button and scrolls down to 'Delete Message' just when he receives a call.

'' Hello?''

''Aaron?''

''Who's this?''

''It's Neha you dumbfk. You didn't even save my number! Sht... shouldn't be so rude''.

''Oh ah...it's okay. Sorry.''

''Anyways,  did you receive the text from Shae? ''

'' I uh...nope...''

With no one speaking over the phone for more than 5 seconds, Neha finally says,

''.....you sure? Cuz he sent it infront of me..''

In a very muffled voice, he replies with a 'Maybe' .

After hearing it, Neha goes , '' Are you that dumb? Just.....meet Shae tomorrow. At the stairs.''

''Whoa okay....is it good news?''

''No news. He just...uh...wanted to negotiate.''

Within 3 seconds of Neha's reply, Aaron rushes downstairs after throwing the phone on his bed, which slides over and falls, splitting in two.
