"Zya called and asked if you could spend the night again," my mom said and I nodded.

"One of y'all want to take her?" My mom asked as she looked at Caesar, Quinton, and James.

"Why don't you take her?" James asked before sipping some of his beer.

"You got a car just like all of us and she is your daughter," he said.

"I have to run a few errands," she said before he got out his chair almost knocking the chair down.

"You seem to be runnin a lot of errands these days, Lynn," he said before walking upstairs.

"You're not gonna get your plate?!" She yelled but we didn't hear a response of course.

"I can take her," Quinton said.

"Thank you," She smiled before grabbing her plate along with James.

She walked upstairs and it was quiet for a moment.

"So we're gonna act like you're really goin to Zya's?" Alana said as she glared at me.

"Where else would I go?" I said before she shook her head.

"You're still lying and the sad part is I'm not even the one you have to lie to," she said before grabbing her plate and going into the kitchen.

I grabbed my plate and got up before Quinton stopped me.

"Can you take mine?" He asked.

I looked at him before walking into the kitchen. Alana was washing her dish when I walked in. I washed mine before she was about to walk upstairs.

"Alana-"

"What?"

"Can you please listen to me," I said.

"What now you want to talk?" She asked.

"Yeah, I do. Can you come back and sit down so we can all talk?" I asked.

She walked back into the dining room before we both sat down.

"So... I would guess you guys have questions," I said as they looked at us.

"That's an understatement," Caesar said.

"How long?" Alana asked.

"How long we've been together?" Quinton asked to elaborate.

"Yeah."

We looked up and down as we tried to calculate when we actually started doing this.

"Let me see," I said pulling out my phone to look at the calendar.

"So long enough to where you forgot?" Alana said and Quinton nodded.

"Oh it was that first weekend y'all went to see your mom," I said before looking up.

"That was like 2 months ago," Kaden said.

"Oh..." I said.

"So when did y'all fuck?" Caesar asked.

"Y'all fucked?!" Kaden exclaimed.

"Okay kissin is one thing. But y'all fuckin too?!" Kaden said as if he was shocked out of his mind.

"I don't know like 2 weeks ago," Quinton said.

"Was that the first or last?" Alana asked.

"Both," I replied.
