Shouto Todoroki x Reader : Summer days

It was the middle of summer and, guess what? The stupid air conditioning in your room had stopped working. Even with the windows and doors open, along with only being dressed in shorts and a tank top, it was waaaay too hot. You had tried to put the fan on, but that just blew hot air around and seemed to make the situation even worse. You stood up and walked out of your room, heading down to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

As you entered the kitchen, you saw the familiar white and red hair of the boy that you loved oh so much. You grinned and hugged him from behind, causing the boy to jump a little. You found that his right side was much colder than his left and so you shifted to that you were hugging his right arm. For a second, he just gave you a confused look before finally noticing what you were doing.

"I'm not your personal AC unit, you know." He said, looking down at you a little due to the height difference. You just looked at him.

"Yes you are." You said and you swore you heard him chuckle a little before he started walking. You looked at him with a pout and followed. "Heyyy, where are you going? Please don't leave me." You said.

Soon enough, you both arrived at his room. He opened the door and you were immediately hit by a wave of refreshing cool air. You just stood at the door for a few seconds before he turned to look at you.

"You do know you can come in, right? You don't have to stand outside." Todoroki said, and so you stepped inside and sat down on his floor. He came and sat on your left, and held an arm out. You smiled brightly at the boy before hugging him tightly.

Todoroki didn't usually let people get this close to him. You were the exception, however. You had been, since the first day that you two met. He let you get a lot closer to him than other people, and you were grateful. You felt so lucky to be able to be with him.

Little did you know, he felt the same. Todoroki had often had troubles trusting people and getting close to them. You were easy to get along with, easy to trust, easy to love. He found himself falling for you right out of the blue and, after many conversations with Midoriya, he finally decided to confess. You were surprised to say the least. But you happily accepted.

"I love you, Todo." You said, tightening your hold on him just slightly. He gave you a rare smile and softly kissed your cheek.

"I love you too, [N/N]. And I always will." He replied, placing his forehead against your own and kissing you gently on the lips.
