Thanks so much to Dadzawaisbestdad for suggesting this amazing idea. Seriously, I love you for this.
Also, I'm sorry. I know no limit when it comes to angst.
Wasn't really sure what to title it though. This should do.

It was a night which seemed colder than most, even for the time of year it was, many felt a chill.
"Don't do this... What happened to you?" Aizawa pleaded as an all too familiar hand gripped tightly onto his throat, barely letting enough air escape and enter. The man in front of him sighed, leaning close to his face.
"Trust me, Shota. It will be okay. I don't want to do this, but I'll make it quick..." The male said. He kissed the darker haired male's cheek softly before leaning back a little.
"Hiza-" Aizawa didn't even get to speak the name of the traitor before him before a hand covered his mouth, and a blade slid across his throat. A few moments of gurgling and muffled attempts at screams before silence. By the time anyone found the body, the culprit was long gone...

You awoke to a somewhat disgusting smell that somehow wafted its way up to the room in which you were previously sleeping in. You covered your nose and stood from your bed, opening your bedroom door. As expected, your brother's door was still closed, the usual sign on the door which read 'Do not wake me. I will fight you.' which usually made you chuckle, but not today for some reason.
You stepped down the stairs and walked into the kitchen, rubbing your eyes, still unable to see very clearly until you had done so. "Hey, dad, what are you trying to cook this ti-" as you opened your eyes, you froze. The image before you was finally clear, and you wished it was a nightmare.
Aizawa layed spread out on the kitchen floor in a pile of his own blood. A deep slit ran across his throat, and some of the blood around it has already started to dry slightly. You let out a high pitched scream as tears began to fill your eyes, and Hitoshi rushed down the stairs in a half-asleep state to see what had caused such an ear-piercing sound to come from you. Once he stood in the kitchen doorway, he froze upon seeing the same horrifying sight that you had discovered just moments ago.
"[Y/N], come with me." He spoke quietly, feeling nauseated by the sight before him. He lead you to the living room by your hand, willing to do anything to get you away from the sight in the kitchen. You were shaking, tears streaming down your face, but your expression just seemed shocked. Who would do this to your dad? A villain? But how would a villain get in? Hitoshi called the police and explained, and you started to panic as you got lost in your thoughts. What if they were after you next? Or what if they hurt Hitoshi? You stood up, rushing off upstairs to try to find your papa, only to find he was gone.
"Toshi!" You ran into his arms once he was done on the phone, sobbing as you clutched onto him. "Dad's dead, and Papa has disappeared... What's going on?" You questioned, looking up at him, tears streaming down your cheeks. He simply brought your head to his chest, stroking your hair gently.
"I don't know, [N/N]..." He answered. His voice sounded strained, as if he was struggling to keep his own feelings at bay. You could tell when you felt a drip of water on your head, however, that he had failed his attempt.
It didn't take long for the police to arrive, and not long after them, a forensics team entered to investigate. You and your brother both gave statements, giving whatever information you possibly could without actually having witnessed the incident occur. They left a few hours later, and you could barely think at all. So many questions still raced through your head, and you hated not knowing the answers. You closed your eyes, and took a deep breath, hoping to steady your thoughts.
The more you thought, the more afraid you were. And once you finally connected the dots, you almost stopped breathing completely. You ran upstairs to throw on some clothes, then ran out of the house. "Don't let me be right... Please, just this once..." You mumbled as you ran. You had to find Papa, and ask him if your suspicions were correct.

Once you had finally managed to find him, he was in an alleyway. Tears stained his cheeks and his body was shaking. "Papa?" You spoke, and the sound of your familiar voice made the man in front of you freeze before turning around. Hizashi's face dropped when he saw you, and tears began to fall from his already puffy eyes. He knew how smart you were. He knew you'd already guessed.
"You killed him, didn't you?" You asked. Your voice was weak, almost broken. Hizashi looked at the floor.
"I didn't have a choice... It was either that, or..."
"Or what?! What could have been worse than killing Dad?!" You screamed as he paused momentarily. You were confused, upset, angry. You wanted a clear answer.
"Having one of the others kill you and Hitoshi!" He yelled in response, and your eyes widened.
"Who are 'the others'?" You asked, once again calming your tone. He explained everything to you right then and there. How he was working for the league of villains, how he had betrayed everyone, and how he'd had to kill his own husband in order to protect the children that he loved so much. He explained where he disappeared to almost every week, and the horrible things he had done. You were left in shock by the explanation.
"I need to tell Toshi... We need to sort this out!" You ran to Hizashi and hugged him tightly. "Well get you back in our side, papa. I promise... You'll be safe again." You said, before rushing off, back to your own house to explain everything to your older brother.

Once all heroes were alerted of the situation by you and Hitoshi, and all information you had had been passed on, they charged into the hideout. You went with them, after assuring them you could be of help. Once they burst through the door, it was too late. Everyone had already gone, and once again, a body lied on the floor...
This time, it was the other father who you'd loved so dearly, lying in a pool of crimson...
