Tamaki Amajiki x Bubbly! Reader: Lift me Up.

I'm sorry, I feel this is quite ooc for him. Also, after starting season 4, Tamaki has quickly become my favorite. I love him so much.
Like, he's overtaken both Bakugou and Shinsou on my favorites list.
Anyway, let's begin now.

You and Amajiki were both third years in the prestigious U.A high, and had been good friends since your first year at the school. You had always found yourself being drawn to all sorts of people, especially slightly anxious or introverted people like Amajiki himself. Your bubbly and cheerful nature had made you fairly easy for most people to get along with. You obviously used your likeability to your advantage when you say somebody who looked lonely or in need of a friend.

Amajiki told you pretty much everything, and no matter how busy you were you would always make time to listen to him. You told him a lot of things too, but not if you believed that it would worry him. You thought that he had enough weight on his shoulders as it is.

Lately, you'd been acting sort of... Odd. You'd been much quieter lately, your level of patients had definitely dropped and you seemed down. You'd been turning down opportunities to hang out with Hadou, not wanting to train with Togata and barely said a word to Amajiki in weeks. He was beginning to miss his emotional support pillar and best friend. All of the big three, who were your closest friends, were beginning to really worry about you.

Little did they know, you'd recently gotten into a fight and were beginning to doubt if you were actually worthy of being friends with the big three. You'd become much more insecure, and a little depressed all well. Of course, you would never talk to the others about this. You knew they each had their own issues, and so you didn't want to burden them with your own.

It was now a Friday afternoon and you had been asked to meet Amajiki outside after school had finished. You were waiting, a sense of dread welling up in your chest. He knew. Of course he knew. You hadn't exactly been holding it in very well. What is he started to hate you for hiding everything? You felt your eyes begin to fill with tears as you got lost in your own thoughts.

Suddenly, a worried face appeared before you. It was Tamaki.

He held his hands on your shoulders as he looked at your teary eyes, concerned. "H-hey, [Y/N], what's going on? I feel like you've been avoiding us for a while now. If there's something wrong, you can-" He was cut off by you wrapping your arms around him and burying your head in his shoulder. You were crying. Amajiki didn't move for a second, too surprised to do anything. He then slightly awkwardly brought one arm around you, while the other froze above your head for a moment before stroking your hair gently, clearly trying to calm you down. You explained through your tears how you'd been feeling, how you felt weak, and unworthy of being around Amajiki and the others. He slowly became more comfortable with you being latched onto him, though went completely still when you said you didn't feel as if you should be his friend.

"Where did the cheery, optimistic [Y/N] that we know run off to? I-i had no idea that you felt like this. W-why didn't you come and talk to me about it? Or go to Mirio or even Neijire? Of course you're good enough to be our friend." He said, letting go to look you in the eye. "You're the person who's there to lift all of us up when we're feeling down. Plus I think if you can beat the teachers in a fight, you're not weak. Have a little faith in yourself." He added, a tiny smile coming to his face. That smile was absolutely adorable.

You wiped the remaining years ([Y/N] years? I ain't dying yet. [A/C] I meant tears! I can't type!) from your eyes, and smiled at him, causing him to let out a little sigh of relief. He didn't like to see you upset.
"Also, after you're fully calmed down, you need to tell me who made you feel like this. I may not be up for a fight, but the others will be." He said, causing you to giggle a little before telling him.

They didn't try to pick a fight with you again.

Togata and Hadou walked up to the person who had been picking fights with you, after hearing about the whole situation from Amajiki. They both had harsh looks on their faces as they approached the guy, and he suddenly didn't feel quite so confident anymore. It was the first time anybody had seen such a look on their faces before.
And it would likely be the last time.
