You'd just gotten out of hospital after dealing with a major villain attack. You guys were still students, so you weren't supposed to get into these situations. But you had the will of a hero, and couldn't stand back and watch people get injured. Your boyfriend, however, was definitely not happy with what you'd done.
"I told you not to go in there alone!"
"And I told you I could handle it!"
"Those villains were strong! You could have ended up dead!" Izuku yelled.
"I'm strong enough to handle it!"
"No you're not! You're still weak!" He yelled, which made you pause your own retorts. The green haired male knew that you had been working your hardest to get stronger, especially since your last big defeat. You always had been insecure about your strength, worrying that you weren't as strong as everyone else and that you'd never make it as a hero. You simply looked at the ground.
"You're right. I am weak." Was all you said before heading for the door.
"Really? You're just going to leave? Just like that?" Izuku asked, only to be answered by the sound of the door slamming closed. Tears began to slide down your cheeks as you ran off, heading somewhere where you could be alone for a little while. After about five to ten minutes of running, you got to an empty area of forest. It was quiet, peaceful. "Stupid Izuku.." You said to yourself as you sat down on the ground, your back resting against a tree. "Maybe I'll just stay here for a little while.." You mutter, thinking that perhaps you could use this as an opportunity to train without anyone interrupting you. You began to fire off blasts of light at a nearby tree using your quirk, each blast seeming to be more powerful than the last as more and more tears continued to roll down your cheeks. You went on firing blasts, trying to improve your strength and working on different techniques for four whole days. The main thing that fueled you was your desire to become stronger, so that nobody could call you weak ever again.
Since you were a kid, you've wanted to be a hero, but even by those closest to you you had been told that you would have to base your fighting style more on skill than strength. Your intelligence proved to be your only strong asset. That and your stubbornness. You'd tried to push yourself to unconsciousness just in an attempt to prove them wrong, but when somebody called you weak, you felt like you were back at the bottom again. It had been four long, painful days before your state finally caught up with you. "God dammit. I'm still weak." You said to yourself in a tone dripping with self hate. You felt the whole world spin around you before collapsing, thinking that you could hear voiced not too far away from you as your eyes closed and you felt yourself slipping into a state of slumber.
Bakugou, Todoroki, Kirishima and Kaminari had decided to go camping in the forest, also choosing to get in some training while they were there. They had just pitched the tent some hours ago and had began to wonder what the bright flashes of light and loud crashes had been coming from that they had been able to hear since they arrived. Bakugou told Kaminari and Kirishima to stay and look after the stuff while him and Todoroki took a look around.
Not long after they set off, they heard the crashed stop and saw a girl. They both recognised you from your familiar [H/C] hair, along with the words you spoke before hitting the ground, passing out. They both looked at you in shock. Nobody had seen or heard anything from you since you got out of the hospital. They both ran over, Bakugou calling for the others, who quickly rushed over and also started at your exhausted body in surprise. Todoroki carefully picked you up.
"We need to get her to recovery girl. Quickly." Bakugou said and Todoroki nodded and started to run. "I'll go too. You two idiots stay at camp. One of you call Deku." He said before following Todoroki.
You opened your eyes to see a white ceiling. No more than five seconds after you sat up to check your surroundings was a glass of water shoved in your face. "Drink." Said the blonde beside you. You took the glass and gulped it down, then placed the empty cup down.
"What happened?" Todoroki asked, looking at you with concern present in his eyes. It was then that your eyes began to become glazed over again, a few stray tears dripping down your cheeks as you explained everything. Both boys also knew about your insecurities, and while one practically exploded with anger, the other placed a comforting hand on your own, but you could even sense the anger oozing off of him as he reassured you how strong you really were. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, Izuku stepped in, and all went silent for a moment. The green haired male stared at your tear stained face in surprise and both boys at your sides glared.
"HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT TO HER KNOWING HOW SHE IS?!" Bakugou basically screamed, causing you to cover your ears. As the blonde ranted on, it was clear that Izuku was beginning to feel more and more guilty, especially after hearing what state you were in when the guys managed to find you.
"Bakugou, stop. I think he'd heard enough now." You said in a quiet voice, causing him to go quiet. Izuku slowly made his way over to you, his bangs casting a shadow over his eyes, making them almost invisible from where you were seated. He then sat beside you, wrapped his arms around you tightly and buried his head in your shoulder."I'm so sorry, [Y/N]. I had no idea how much I hurt you. I didn't know if you were ever going to come back! I got so worried." The boy said and began to temple, sobbing onto your shoulder. You brought your hand up to ruffle his hair.
"Its okay, Izuku. I forgive you."
"Just promise me one thing." The greenette added, and you hummed as a signal for him to continue. "Please never leave my side ever again. I don't know what I'd do without you." He said. You smiled a little, embracing him."Alright. I won't."
