Anna

It was a mess, that the first thing that pop up in Anna mind. She definitely never think that Dave going to kiss her in his room. She is taking herself to the toilet, taking a deep breaths, trying to focus and not cry. Anna never imagine that today is going to be a day that start with happy feeling but ended with worst feeling, she never imagine to meet again with her ex, she never imagine that Dave going to kiss her without saying anything. She need to calm herself first before back to her room. Her phone keep vibrating, someone is calling her and she knows that Lisa might be worried.

Anna finally back to her room and Lisa already in her room.

"What's wrong?" Lisa ask her.

"Nothing," Anna answer. 

Well, Lisa knows something happened and she will not leave just like that, then she is asking Anna one more time, with firm voice: "What is wrong, Anna?"

Anna look at her, feeling tired so suddenly, but she knows that she can't escape from Lisa that easily without answering her question. So, Anna just sigh and say: "Do you remember my story about my ex in Harvard?"

Lisa nod and Anna continues: "He is Mr Dave."

Hearing the answer, Lisa can't hide her shocking face and Anna continue again: "I never know that this company is belong to his family, I never know that I will meet him again in here."

"So, this is the first time you meet him again after 6 years?" Lisa ask her.

"Yes, and I thought I can act normal towards him, but when I went to his room, he suddenly kiss me. He is out of his mind or what?! He left me 6 years ago for that stupid projects, only texted me to said goodbye and promised to back as soon as possible!" Anna talk with some furious tones.

Lisa never see this side of Anna. The broken heart girl, try to hold back her tears. She knows Anna for almost 3 years, she is one of her best friend, and she is always look happy and positive, but the girl in front of her now is far from it.

Lisa then walk to Anna and hug her, then she say: "it's okay Anna, if you want to cry, just cry, you can't hold it, it will make you hurt more." She then take a remote for the curtains and push the close button.

Anna can't handle it anymore, and as Lisa start to hug her, she is starting to cry. It's already 6 years after her last cry, she was make a promises to herself that she will never cry again because of love, but now she is crying because of one man that she knows she still love him.

"Umm...sorry to ruin your shirt Lisa," Anna said after make herself calm.

"That's okay, I'm glad that you're crying, it will make you feel good," Lisa said and smile.

"I asked Dean to handles anything in front, so no one will enter your room," Lisa said again.

Anna smile and say: "Thank you, I'm really glad that you're here.'"

Lisa shook her head, but before she says anything, someone is knocking the door. "Come in," Anna said.

Dean enter the room and smile, he is looking at Anna and feel bad, but Anna just smile.

"What's wrong Dean?" Lisa asking.

"Hmm, are you two okay now? It's already 5 pm and mostly all the staffs already going home," Dean said.

"Sigh, sorry, I forget about the time," Anna said.

Dean is smiling and shook her head. Actually both him and Lisa have a date tonight, but he is quite understand the situation right now.

"Okay, let's go home," Anna said, she remember that tonight supposed a special night for both of her best friends.

"Are you okay now? Do you need us to bring you home?" Lisa ask, but Anna shook her head.

"I'm okay, I still can drive my car," Anna said and smile.

After that the three of them walk towards the parking area. Dean opens the door for Lisa, and they're saying goodbye to Anna. Anna then drive herself home. She doesn't want her parents look at her face, because they will get so anxious, so before she get off from her car, she try to smile and give her best smile.

"Hi mom," Anna greet her mom and kiss her.

"Oh, hai baby, you already home," her mom kiss her back, and see her tired face.

"Are you okay honey?" her mom ask her.

Anna nods and say: "I'm okay mom, just tired, today meeting really hard."

Her mom smile, but before she can say anything, Anna say: "Well, I will go to my room now, need a warm or hot waters right now."

Her mom nod and Anna go to her room. At her room, Anna go to the bathroom and turn on the hot and cold water, so she will a warm and nice water. After the water ready, she is entering the bath tub, sit there, looking at the ceiling and her mind bring her to 6 years ago.

She remembered how she first met with Dave, how was Mike introduced her to him. Anna always love to saw him before they got know each other, she knew that Dave is a genius, he took double degree for Law and Business. She remembered his sweet smile, voice, how warm his hug and many more. She was happy back then when Dave said that he want Anna to be his girl friend. They had that happy life back then, but it was a day after their first anniversary as a couple, Dave brought the news about the project.

Anna sigh...It's not that he didn't want to support Dave or anything else back then, it's just she need more time to accepted it and she never knew that Dave already made up his mind and didn't know that he would go the next day and only texted her to said goodbye. Anna feel betrayed for his actions, Anna feel not worth it, she was crying all alone.

"He is think that everything is okay? He is crazy," Anna said to herself.

Anna try to forget everything about Dave, she never forget him completely but for this past 3 years, she already enjoy her life, and never think too much about her ex, but today really tough for her. He coming back like nothing happened, kiss her, and claim her as him. Anna feel exhausted with all, she ended her bath, back to her room for change and tell her mom that she is going to sleep without eat the dinner because she is tired. 

"Just let me to sleep peacefully tonite dear God, and don't let me dream about him," Anna said.

Then she sleep.
