The Confrontation

The last meeting with Grace didn't bring any good for Dave mood, because Grace keep send him a messages and call him. He feel so bad now and can't think anything about work. He's in deep thought when someone knock his door, but he just ignore it.

"Boss...can I came in?" Anna head pop up from the door. Dave hear her voice and he turn around and see the face that he miss a lot.

"Uh...sure, sorry I don't hear you knock the door," Dave said and give her a fainted smile.

Anna then come in to Dave room, she look upon Dave and see that tired face. This is the first time for Anna to see Dave look tired and frustrated, also he really have a bad mood for several days, make most staffs afraid.

"Are you okay? You look so bad," Anna asked and said, she is slowly walking toward Dave, she want to sit in front of him, but then she decide to go to his side. She then give a small caress to Dave hair, and smile to him. For Dave this small action make him so happy, sometimes happiness come from a small things.

"Nah, never been in this situation before," Dave said and lean to Anna waist.

"Is she still calling and messaging you?" Anna asked, she give a small stroke on Dave hairs.

Dave just nods his head, he look really tired and don't want to response to Grace. "I really want to block her number, but I'm afraid she will make commotion here," Dave said while stand up from her chair, he is now facing with Anna. He caress Anna face with his hand, he really love to see Anna face right now, it's the only medicine for him now. 

"It's okay, we will fine the way for it," Anna said, and then she said again: "well, I need to go now, I will text you tonite, you need to focus on your work now, and please give your smile today to everyone."

After talk a little bit, Anna leave Dave office. She must meet with design graphic today for the project, so she call Lisa and Dean to meet her at the lobby and they will go straight to the meeting place. When Anna arrive at the lobby, someone call her: "Anna!", then Anna see who the one that call her, then suddenly there's a big sound of slap.

'PLAKKK!!'

Anna shock with the sudden slap on her cheek, make her little stumble, luckily both Lisa and Dean already arrived at lobby and Dean catch Anna so she won't fall. On the other side, Lisa see her friend got slap from a woman, and she recognize the woman, she is Grace.

"What are you doing to my friend?!" Lisa shout to Grace, make Grace backward a little, but then Grace find her courage.

"Why? She deserved that slap, she try to steal my boyfriend?!" Grace shouted back to Lisa.

Lisa want to come forward to slap Grace back, but Anna stop her. Anna then said to Lisa: "it's not your problem Lis, I can handle her, also don't slap her, it will only disgrace you just like her."

"What did you say? Me? Disgrace?" Grace now is yelling, and everyone at the lobby look at her.

"Please stop yelling, everyone is looking at you right now," Anna calmly talk to Grace.

Anna response really make Grace mad, she then start to yell again: "so what if they're looking at me? I don't feel embarrassed at all, but I will make you feel it!"

"If you want to talk with me then talk, but you need to calm yourself down, I don't like to talk with someone who keep yelling to others," Anna now give her a glare but Anna voice keep calm and soft. 

Everyone in the company knows about Anna, because she is really kind, never talk harsh to anybody, always smile to everyone even to cleaning service, and always work hard, so they won't think negative about her, even there's a crazy girl that keep shouting right now at her, and Anna just calmly talk to her.

"I don't need to talk softly with you. You and Dave already over since 6 years ago, and he choose me to be his girlfriend, but then you steal him again, he decided to break up with me 2 years ago after he saw your photo at this company from Mike," Grace keep shouting out.

Anna let out her sigh then she say: "I never ever want to steal him from you, that his choice to comeback to here and find me, I never contact him since we break up 6 years ago and I only met him a month ago. If he choose me over you, than that's what he decide."

Grace now glare at Anna, she step forward and shove Lisa, then raise her hand to hit Anna again, but she doesn't know that Dave already there because the receptionist was report to him and when Grace hand almost hit Anna cheek, Dave catch it then shove it, make Grace startle. 

"What are you doing to her?" Dave is asking Grace, and anyone there can see his gaze look really mad.

"I...I..." Grace can't say anything.

"Dave, it's okay, I'm okay, she is coming here to talk with me," Anna try to explain.

"An, she slapped you!" Lisa interrupted when she heard Anna try to defending Grace.

"What?!" Dave now look so angry and he move to Anna, hold her chin to look up to him then he see a slap mark on Anna cheek.

"What are you thinking?" Dave said to Anna and caress her cheek, Anna just smile a little.

On the other side when Grace look on how Dave treat Anna, it's make her really jealous then she star to yell again: "stop it Dave! Stop it! What are you doing?! I'm here but you do that to her in front of me!! I'm your girlfriend not her!"

Dave turn around and now facing the angry and not reasonable Grace, he doesn't want to waste his time, because he know that Anna and her team still have a meeting outside and so does he. After take a long breath, Dave then say with his cold face and voice: "I need you to go now Grace, I don't want to deal with you and your unreasonable things now, you need to make your head clear before we talk again. Also, you're not my girlfriend anymore, we broke up 2 years ago and that's enough for us." 

"Dave, enough, don't talk like that," Anna try to calm down Dave. She know how bad Dave when he is mad, he already saw it.

"You...!" Grace try to shout again, but she stop because now Dave is glaring to her and she look down.

"Security, please escort this woman out, I don't want she make any commotions in here, also take a photo of her and spread it to other securities, remember her face, don't make her enter our company again," Dave sternly said to the security.

"Yes sir!" the security answer him, then they escort Grace outside, Grace try to remove their hand but since the security more strong than her, she just give up.

"I'm sorry you all for this commotion, it's my fault, hope you all can forgive me," Dave said then he bow his body. After that he just go to the elevator, pulling Anna hand together with him, but before he leave, he talk to Lisa and Dean: "can you both go to the meeting without Anna? I will treat her cheek." Both Lisa and Dean just nods and then they go, Dave and Anna too enter the elevator and go to Dave office room.
