Afraid of Losing You

After their last talked a couples day ago, both Anna and Dave try to avoid one of another. Both of them act like nothing happened but every time they meet each other on public, they will try not to look to each other, even one time when Dave want to went to rest room, but then he saw Anna was walking from the rest room so he decided to went to the other floor rest room. Lisa saw all of this scene but she hasn't ask Anna what happened. She go to Dean room to have some talk with the man about their friend.

"Hai Dean, are you busy now?" Lisa asked when she enter the room.

"Nope, not at all, just do a review for some documents," Dean said to Lisa.

Lisa walk and sit on the chair in front of Dean desk, she let out a sigh and then she said: "are you noticing that something is wrong with boss and Anna?"

"Hmm...kinda...they're avoiding each other," Dean said without looking at Lisa because he still read the report.

"What exactly happened with both of them? I mean, they were okay when that woman name Grace came and made commotion here," Lisa close her eyes and start to thinking.

Dean now lifted up his head and looked towards Lisa, he can see how frustrated Lisa now because of Anna and their boss. Actually Dean know the reason, because Dave told him a couples day ago when he accidentally met with him at the bar, Dave told him everything and got drunk. Dean can't understand either with Anna attitude about their relationship, but he can't say anything to Anna and now he is thinking if he should or not tell Lisa about this.

"Dean? What's wrong?" Lisa asked when she Dean in deep thought.

"Well, I will tell you something and I hope both of us can help them after you know this," Dean finally decide to tell Lisa the truth.

Lisa nod her head and then Dean said again: "actually I met with Dave couples day ago at bar, he looked really brokenhearted and drunk as well. He told me that he asked Anna about their relationship but Anna said she still thinking about it, also he feel like Anna just playing with his feeling right now, that because...because...Anna let him to kiss and hug her."

Lisa couldn't believe what she is hearing now, because she know that Anna won't do something like that especially to Dave because Anna love him. "I don't believe it, it can't be...Anna love Dave, she told me that," Lisa try to clear the things.

Dean just look at her and nod, he know about Anna feeling too, but what he heard from Dave was the truth too. Now both him and Lisa are being quite, try to thinking what should they do for their friend and boss.

On the other side, Anna just looking blankly to her computer, she try to finish all her work, but can't concentrate. She is thinking about Dave and her answered to him, she is sighing again and again, remembered Dave face when she said that she need more time to straight her mind. She understand the consequences for her decision, but she need to do it no matter what. She might seem so stubborn right now, but Anna always believe if both her and Dave are meant to be together then no matter what her decision now, their love will always find the way to be together.

Anna still in her deep thought when suddenly her phone is ringing.

Ring...Ring...Ring...

Anna see the caller ID and it's from Dave. At first Anna want to ignore the call, but something in her heart tell her to pick it up.

"Hello...Dave?" Anna said, but no one talk at the other side.

"Dave...why are you calling me? Hello?" Anna said again, but it's still quite. 

Anna keep call Dave name but no one answer it and because of that she think maybe Dave accidentally press her phone number, she want to hang up the phone but then she hear someone talking.

"An...An...he...help...me," Anna hear Dave voice, it's like he is in pain right now.

"Dave! Where are you?" Anna asked him while running out from her room. She meet Lisa and Dean, and both of her friends are looking at her with puzzle face.

"An, what's going on?" Dean asked her, but Anna just shake her head.

"Dave...tell me where the heck are you now?!" Anna is now yelling at her phone, try to reach Dave, but then the phone get disconnected. 

Anna try to dial Dave number again and again but now the phone is switch off. Anna look so confused right now then she look to Lisa and Dean, both of the look confused too.

"Dean, do you see Dave today?" Anna asked.

"Nope, I don't see him today. Why?" Dean asked back.

Anna now start to walk towards Dave office, followed by Lisa and Dean. 

"An, what's happened?" Lisa asked her.

Anna just shake her head, because she is really confused now too, then she said: "he just called me and his voice like he is in pain, he is asking for help." Lisa and Dean get shock for the news. 

"We need to check the CCTV, I will go to the security office and you two go to Dave office," Dean said to Anna and Lisa, they're nodding then Dean walk to elevator go to the security office.

When Anna arrive at Dave room, she rushed towards the secretary and asking her about Dave schedule, the secretary don't know where's Dave now and it make Anna really afraid. She is afraid if something bad happened to Dave, so she try to call him again but still get the same responses. 

"Anna! Lisa! We need to go to the parking area, now!" Dean is yelling to both of them, making Anna and Lisa startled.

"What is happen..."Lisa want to ask but can't continue because Anna pull her hand and start running to the elevator.

"He is at the parking area, I think he got injured, I saw the video, that woman come to him and suddenly stabbed him. He got unconscious now and I already called for the ambulance," Dean explained to both of the.

Anna can't believe what she is hearing right now, her legs become weak and she almost fall if Lisa doesn't hold her. She is starting to cry and pleaded: "no, it can't be...I don't want to lose him...oh God...please...please save him."

They arrived at the parking area, some of security already there, the ambulance also there, they finally found Dave. Anna look at Dave, Dave body full with blood, he look so pale and really hard to breathe.

"Miss, we need to bring him to hospital now," the paramedic said.

"I will come along with you, can I go inside beside him?" Anna said while crying.

The paramedic just nod and let her come along, the paramedics are now preparing all tube and etc to support Dave life, because he is now in critical condition. One of the paramedic come to Dean and said: "Sir, can you help to contact his family?"

"Ahh...yes, his dad in here right now, I will inform his," Dean said.

"Okay, we will bring him now to the Paramount Hospital, he need surgery ASAP," the paramedic said again.

Dean just nod his head, then both him and Lisa walk towards the ambulance, and see Anna in there still crying and hold Dave hand. Lisa can see how sad her friend now and she believe that Anna still in love with Dave.

"Anna, we will go to inform Dave dad for his accident, you just wait at the hospital okay," Lisa is tying to soothe Anna. 

After all preparation for Dave is ready the ambulance start to go to the hospital for the surgery. Dave lost so much blood due to his wound and that's make him in critical condition right now. Anna look at his face and can't hold her tears, so she start to crying again in silent and praying. He leans forward to Dave, stroke his face, then whisper to him: "Dave...please be strong...please Dave...I don't want to lose you like this...I am really afraid to losing you like this...so please be strong."

Anna give him a small kiss on his cheek and suddenly the heart machine beep crazily, making all of them startled. The paramedics are trying to make his stable again, but suddenly the line on the machine shown the straight line. Anna can see how the paramedics take the pacemaker and start to spur on his heart.

"Dave...please be strong," Anna said while crying.
