The Hospital

The ambulance finally arrived at the hospital, some of nurses already stand by at the ICU, they're waiting for the ambulance, once it's stop at the door, the paramedics are rushing out together with Dave on the bed. They explain about Dave status, his wounds and how his breathe lost for couple of minutes before we arrived. The nurse then tell them to bring Dave directly to the operation room and they rush to there. Anna is following them by Dave side, she keep holding Dave hand and ask him to stay strong.

In front of the operating room, one of the nurse hold her and said: "miss, I'm sorry but you can't follow us inside, please stay here and call his family." Anna quite understand about the procedures so she just nod her head and take a sit on the bench outside the operating room. She is waiting for Dave's dad and her friends to come. Dean already texted her a minute ago and said that they will arrive soon.

Anna is waiting about 10 minutes and then she heard a voice: "How is Dave?". Anna look up and see Dave's dad.

"He is in the operating room right now sir," Anna said.

Dave's dad just nod then he sit beside Anna, he clearly can see how shock Anna with this incident, also can see that Anna still have the same feeling with Dave, but he doesn't say anything.

"Anna, are you okay?" Lisa come and hug her tight, she try to calm her down. Dean also try to soothe her with a little pat on her back.

After waiting for about 2 hours, a nurse come out from the operating room, Dave's dad see her and rush to her.

"How is my son miss?" Dave's dad asked to the nurse.

The nurse smile to him and said: "Mr. Dave is okay now sir, the operation is success, the wound not too deep so he will be okay. He is in the recovery room right now, I will bring him to the ward in 1 hour.

"Oh, thank you miss. Thanks God that he is okay," he said again.

"Please fill the the patient data at the reception sir," the nurse remind Dave's dad.

"Thank you miss," he said. After talking with the nurse, Dave's dad go to the reception to register his son, and he asked for VVIP room. He is back to Anna and the others after registered, he said: "Anna, can you wait here for a sec? I will go to the cafeteria with Lisa and Dean."

"Ahh...sure sir," Anna said while give a little smile to him.

An hour later, the nurse bring Dave to the VVIP room, they move him to the bed, he still unconscious due to anesthetic. The nurse already inform them that Dave will be wake up in 1 or 2 hours, all of them just wait in the room.

"Dean, are you already called the police?" Dave's dad suddenly speak and asking Dean about what happened.

"Yes sir, I already gave them the CCTV and the identity of the woman," Dean answered him.

He is smiling then take a look to Dave. He loves his son more than anything in this world and Dave is he only son from his late wife, so Dave is really precious to him and anything that harm Dave, he will look for them and punish them. He then look at Anna that is waiting at Dave side bed, he is walking towards her and give a small pat on Anna back, then said: "don't worry, my son will wake up soon, he is strong."

"Yeah...I'm strong...so don't have to worry," that voice make all of them that in the room surprise, they see to the source of the voice and see Dave's smiling to them, it's faintly smile but all of them especially his dad and Anna feel so relieved.

"Oh my son, you already wake up," his dad hug him and pat his head lightly.

"Uhmm...yeah...oh damn...it's hurt," Dave flinched when he tried to move his body. 

Anna is seeing his movement and unconsciously hold his hand, Dave is surprise and take a look at Anna, he doesn't realize that Anna at his side until Anna hold his hand suddenly. When he see Anna, he can't hold his smile and said: "you must be so worried that you hold my hand like this." 

Anna want to let go her hand, but Dave is holding her back, he just smiling, making Anna blush in front of his dad and her friends. The others just smile to see this, they're hoping that this incident can make the two of them reconcile. 

"Oh...you know, Grace is the one who did this to me," Dave talked to them.

"What exactly happened?" Anna asked him after she calm herself.

"I will tell it when the police come. When will they come?" Dave said and asking.

Dean move forward to him and explained: "I already gave the CCTV as an evidence for what happened and gave Grace identity. They will come this evening to take your testimony."

Dave let out a sigh and thinking about what happened. He never imagine that Grace can do that such of things like this. He remembered when the first time he met with Grace, a sweet girl, young woman that have her dream, that smile that made him remembered about Anna, the sweet tone of her and many things. He might not love her as much as Anna and just be with her because she reminded him to Anna, but still he has a feeling for her, but it just didn't work out.

Anna see that Dave is in deep thought, so she squeeze his hand and make Dave take a look at her. Anna give him a smile to make him stronger, because she know that Dave thinking about Grace and all things happened until this incident. 

"Hmm...are you worrying about me? I'm okay...," Dave said and give a smile to Anna.

"I know you're okay, but still you must still be in shock," Anna gently said to him.

Dave just smile, he know that only Anna who knows what in his mind, that's why he never want to lose her or let her go. His dad is looking at him then to Anna, making him smile because he know that his son finally meet someone special. 

"Uhmm...I'm gonna be okay, if you just say yes to be my girlfriend again," Dave suddenly said it, make Anna and the others surprised, but he just give them a big grin and laugh out loud. Anna at his side just blushing to red like a tomatoes.
