Love Find Itself

One month passed since Dave case with Grace and the trials for the case already over too. Grace received a prison sentence for 2 years for attempted murder. Actually she was sued for 5 years, but because she admitted what she did and Dave asked to ease the sentence so the judge only give her 2 years. Dave already back to work, both him and Anna busy with the project that supposed to finish 2 weeks ago, but because of the trials etc the project must be postponed.

Anna just arrived at her room when she get phone called from Dave and ask her to come to his room as soon as possible, so she rushed to go there.

"Ahh An, come in," Dave said when he see Anna at his office room door.

Anna get in to his office then asked: "why your door is open widely?"

Dave just laugh then walk to her and close the door. He take Anna hand and pull to the chair in front of his desk. "That's because my dad just came over here, he just went not long before you came," Dave said to her.

"Oh okay then. So...why are you calling me?" Anna asked to him.

"Here, take a look at this report," Dave give her a report.

Anna read the report and study it. It's the report about which products that have a high value and much liked by customers. She already know about this report since she studied it every day start from they won the project, but Anna feel something wrong with the report and quiet confusing.

"So, what do you think?" Dave asked when he see Anna is frowning.

"Is this the new report?" Anna asked him.

"Yep, I got this from my dad. Is there anything wrong?" Dave asked again.

"Hmm...it's not, but why this items get a significant increase in 1 month?" Anna asked again.

Dave take a look at the items that Anna show and read the report. After read it, he just smile a little then said: "well for this, you must say thank you to Amelie. I know that you two are not a good friend, but thanks to her and her team, this items can get a significant increase only in 1 month."

"Ah I see, well she is capable after all, this gonna make my work become so easy," Anna smile to Dave.

They're talking a little bit about the project and the preparation for to launching it, after that they just talk whatever they can talk including Grace case and others. After that, Anna go back to her office room because she need to hold a small meeting with her team and double check all the preparation. 

Around 4 PM, Dave come to Anna room, he is knocking the door, but no one answer, so he open the door and looked in slightly. He see that Anna fall asleep on the couch, so he walk in slowly, don't want to wake her. Dave then take a seat beside her, he take her head make it lean on his shoulder, he is patting Anna hand softly and take a look the report that she read. Dave is smiling to see some of scribbles on the report. He then look at Anna face, the woman that he love, she is really beautiful and more beautiful than 6 years ago, he can't hold himself to not kiss Anna, so he slightly kiss Anna forehead and nose, descended to the lips but he stop himself.

"Anna, you will be my dead soon," he said softly while caressing Anna cheek. It makes Anna wake up from her sleep. She is in the dazed and confused, then slowly she realize that she is leaning on Dave shoulder.

"What are you doing here?" Anna said while justifying her sitting position.

"Well, I want to ask you to go out with me for dinner," Dave said and smile to her.

"For how long are you staying in here before I wake up?" Anna asked again.

"About 15 minutes. I don't want to wake you up since you looked really tired," Dave explained to her.

Anna just nod, she is tidying up all the documents on the table and Dave is helping her. Anna want to walk to her desk but Dave pulled her and make her sit on his lap. Anna is pretty shock with this and make her blush while Dave only smile widely to her.

"So, tell me, will you go out for dinner with me?" Dave asked her again. 

"Why I must go with you?" Anna asked him back.

"Hmm...didn't you promise me to do whatever I want back then in the Hospital?" Dave tell her about her promised.

Anna sigh a little and of course she remembered that promise, until now she just waiting for Dave to ask about it and here he is now. Anna then turn her head and change her sitting position so she can see Dave face. She look at that man eyebrows, eyes, nose, lips and jawline, she then touch its with her hand. Dave just closed his eyes and feel every touch of Anna hand on her face, her hand really soft and make Dave can't say anything. Both of the just being quiet for sometimes. 

"You know, your face really have a nice features and I really like it," Anna suddenly said to him.

"You only like my face? Not me?" Dave asked her.

Anna laugh out loud to hear that question, then she said: "Am I supposed to like you too? Can I just like your face?"

Dave want to say something but Anna cup her face and give a small peck on his lips, it is making Dave surprised and he suddenly blushing. Anna smile sweetly to him and embrace his neck, keep staring into his eyes. 

"I think that we don't need any dinner tonite," Anna said.

"Do you love me An? Because I love you so much and if you don't love me, it will make me crazy," Dave said while leaning his head to Anna shoulder. 

"I think my heart know what I want now. I try to bury my feeling towards you, but it keep getting strong and make me crazy too. What happened with Grace make me realize that I'm afraid to lose you," Anna said while give a small stroke to Dave hair.

Dave pull himself from Anna, he look at the woman that he love the most, then slowly kiss her lips, it's a soft and tender kiss. 

"I love you Anna and will always love you," Dave said.

"I love you too Dave, now and forever," Anna give him a reply.

Dave smiled to Anna's word, then he add: "You know, when I was in Spain, I heard some old woman said this to me: 'If you love her so much and she love you so much too, then you don't have to worry about the future, because love will find itself, no matter how long it take.' Now I understand what that old woman mean," he said to Anna.

"Yeah indeed...Love find itself," Anna smiled and give him a kiss.
