The Problematic Couple

After their lunch at rooftop, both Anna and Dave comeback to their office. Lisa see them out from elevator together so she get really curious about the situation and before Anna reach her room door, Lisa pull her to her room.

"Lisa! What are you doing?" Anna asking her in surprised tone.

"So, tell me, where are you going for lunch and why did you out from elevator together with boss?" Lisa ask to her with a big grin.

Anna puzzle for a minutes and : "ehem...well...he...he asked me to have a lunch together with him at the rooftop."

"Wow, are you serious? That's a good thing right?" Lisa ask again, she really can't hide her happiness.

"Hmm...actually Lis, I still don't know. I asked him what he want from me, and he said that he want me, and that's all, after that we just ate in silence," Anna said to Lisa, little frustrated actually.

Lisa see her friend and hug her, then she say: "Calm down An, at least you know that he still want you, and he is trying to win you back."

Anna just sigh, she pull herself away from Lisa hug, smile and say: "Yeah, I know, he keep texting me for this couple of days, but I ignored him, I just start to reply her messages today and he asked me for lunch."

Anna knows how is Dave feeling towards her and actually Anna knows how she feel too towards Dave, but it's still hard for her to say it, she still feel insecure and afraid with all of this.

"Anna, it's okay, just let it flow, I know it's still hard for you but just give him another chance to prove himself to you," Lisa said.

Anna nods, she take a deep breathe and smile to Lisa. After their small talk, Anna back to her room. For Anna, her relationship and Dave is a big puzzle that she need to solve, it's now easy for her to trust that man again, she is afraid if one day Dave will leave without saying anything and she doesn't want to walk in the wound ever again. She need 6 years to settle her heart and now, it's stirring again because of Dave.

On the other side, Dave is thinking why Anna didn't say anything about when he said that he want Anna. 

"Is she think that I'm joking when I said that?" Dave talk to himself. 

"Who is he?" someone ask him and Dave startle.

"Uhm...hai dad, I don't hear you come," Dave said to his Dad.

Mr. Mike Rowland, that's Dave dad, one of the biggest businessman in the country, he is a warm person and really love his son, but he really strict too.

"Of course you won't hear me, you are busy in your mind, thinking about something...or someone," Mr. Mike said with his smile.

Dave is scratching his head and say: "yeah, thinking about someone. I don't know how to explain it, but she is really dear for me."

"Who is she? Does she work in here?" His dad asking him.

Dave nod slightly, he close his eyes and answering his dad: "yes dad, actually she is my dear one from 6 years ago, when I were in college, I left her and make her heartbroken until now."

Dave never talk anything to his parents about what happened 6 years ago, his parents knew that he has a lover back then, but they never asking him about the girl, they only know later that Dave left her alone and choose to join his college project.

"Dad, if you know who is she, you won't do anything to her right? You won't fired her?" Dave ask.

Listening to his son, Mr. Mike laughing so hard before he say: "Why would I fired her? Just because she is ignoring you and making you can't concentrate for your work, well that's not her fault, that's yours. So tell me, who is this girl?"

"Ehem...well her name is Anna, she is the leader from the winning team that you choose for the project. I just met her again that time," Dave answer to his dad.

"Oh gosh, that smart lady? She is you ex? You're so dumb my boy, why you choose your project over her? If I were you, I will never left her for anything," his dad laugh at Dave.

Dave just sigh, but before he try to speak, his dad speak again: "you must win her heart back no matter what, I love her, she is so nice and her work really outstanding. If you can't win her back, I will write off your name from my will."

"Dadddd...c'mon I'm trying hard here, can't you see it?" Dave whined to his dad.

"Well, I know you can do it, just do your best my son. I will back to my room now," Mr. Mike then walk away and leave her son alone.

Dave just smile when her dad go out from his room, he then take his phone and start typing message to Anna.

-Anna, want to go out for dinner tonite- DV

Anna look at her phone when it ring and see Dave message, she then reply.

-I can't tonite, I promise my mom that I will accompany her to mall. How about tomorrow?- Anna

Dave is smiling, Anna can't go tonight but she can tomorrow, well that's not bad tomorrow is Saturday, so he reply again.

-It's okay, tomorrow then. You don't need to bring your car. I will pick you up at home- DV

Dave is waiting quite longer for Anna reply, he want to ask again, but before he is doing that, there's message from Anna.

-Okay, will wait for you tomorrow- AN

Dave so happy with Anna reply, he can't stop smiling and he reply again.

-That's settle then. See u tomorrow babe- DV

"What?! Is he just call me 'babe'?" Anna said to herself, she then smile a little, but doesn't reply to Dave, she just put back her phone and star working again.

On the other side Dave still waiting for her reply, but after 30 minutes he give up and just laugh out loud, then he say: "Anna...you will make me crazy."
