Chapter 15: Another Home

Kayla's POV

Ron and I were walking through the community greeting everyone from my old group. Glenn and Maggie are sharing a house with me, while the others figure out who they will be living with. Enid had went over the wall earlier today she has always been doing that since she has been living here. Ron and I reached the Grimes residence knocking on the door slightly.

"Kayla!" Michonne said opening the door giving me a warm hug.

"Hey Michonne I missed you!" I said hugging her back.

"We've missed you too." She smiled pulling away from the hug moving to the side to let us in.

"Oh and this Ron, he lives 4 houses down." I say introducing him.

"Nice to meet you Ron." Michonne said sticking her hand out for him to shake it.

"Where's Rick?" I asked.

"You know him and Daryl are checking the place out just making sure everything is like they say it is." Michonne explained.

"Oh okay, what about Judith and Carl?" I asked looking over at Ron then back at Michonne.

"Carol has Judith and Carl should be upstairs you can go look if you want." Michonne smiled walking into the kitchen.

"Okay!" I chirped grabbing Ron and walking up the stairs to look for Carl. I reached the room that I assumed was his and knocked.

"Come in!" He said kind of in a muffled tone.

I walked in seeing the brunette boy sitting on the bed fixing his hat. His eyes left the hat looking up at us his face expression immediately changed when he saw Ron behind me.

"Carl!!" I nearly shouted in excitement running towards him giving him hug that ended to both of us in the floor. We laughed as we hit the floor getting up and dusting our clothes off.

"Carl this is Ron." I said smiling pointing to the slim brunette leaning against the door frame.

"What's up man." Ron said sticking his hand out. Carl hesitated for a moment before shaking his hand.

"Anymore people our age?" Carl asked putting his hat on his head.

"Yeah her name is Enid she went out for a little bit ." I said.

"Well I'll let you two catch up on things, it was nice meeting you Carl." Ron said leaving the bedroom and going downstairs out the front door.

"So how much did you miss me?" Carl asked playful tackling me on the bed.

"Hey Carl! I'm going to go look for your dad I'll be back in a few!" Michonne yelled up the stairs then walking out the house.

"I missed you a lot." I smirked pressing my lips onto his. It took him awhile to figure out what was going on he cupped my cheeks pressing his lips against mine. We kissed for what seemed like forever before basically ripping each other clothes off and just like that we both laid naked on the bed panting.

"I love you Kayla." Carl said kissing me on the cheek then getting up from the bed.

"I love you too." I smiled doing the same as well.

"So does that mean we are still boyfriend and girlfriend?" He asked putting his clothes back on.

"Yes it does." I blushed putting my clothes on as well.

We finished putting on our clothes running downstairs to the kitchen.

"Want some water?" Carl asked opening the refrigerator grabbing a water bottle.

"No thank you." I nicely declined.

He nodded closing the refrigerator with a water bottle for himself in his hand.

"Want to go for a walk?" I asked getting bored.

"Sure." Carl said finishing his water bottle. I grabbed his hand walking out his residence then walking down the streets of Alexandria.

"Do you it like so far?" I asked glancing over to him.

"I don't know yet...." He said in a low tone.

"It seems a little shady." He added on kicking rocks as we walked.

"It's not they are really nice people and they just want to help others." I softly said looking around the community.

"Yeah well saving people can get you killed." He harshly said walking off to who knows where.
