Chapter fifteen - Beautiful

I woke up to find Jessica's head on my shoulder. Then I jumped up from the sofa making everyone fall onto the ground because they had all decided to make me the pillow.

"Hey! What was that for?" Carly screams out.

I answer her and check the time on my phone 7:40. Tom's gonna be here in twenty minutes.

"Tom's gonna be here in twenty minutes. I need to get ready." I say and pick up our ice-cream container and throw it away along with empty packets of sweets and chips.

I then run to my room, take a shower and get dressed in a black long sleeve top with a burgundy coloured top with two white stripes at both arms. I put on some dark grey leggings and black boots. I begin to brush through my hair and then only do I realise that my nails are painted, urg...those girls. I leave my hair wavy and put on a beanie and a black bomber jacket.

For me, I surprisingly got done quick and before Tom even arrived. I happily skip down the stairs and there he stood chatting with Jessica and Carly while Sam is making breakfast and then they stop talking when tom looks up at me.

"Hi." I awkwardly wave.

"Five minutes late. I thought I was going to wait twenty but you surprised me." Tom says making me smile and gives me a weird look.

"We should get moving. It was loving meeting you ladies." Tom says.

"I just gotta grab my keys and phone." I say and grab those objects.

"Bye." I yell out to my friends.

"Have fun!" Sam yells back.

"But not too much fun!" I hear Jessica yell and I roll my eyes at her comment.

Tom opens the passenger door for me and once I'm in the car he closes it and gets into the driver's seat. And then I'm hit with that weird look again.

"What's up with that look?" I ask.

"Oh, sorry. It's just that you look so beautiful." Tom says and my cheeks immediately feels heated.

"And it's also really cute when you blush." Tom says making me blush even more.

"Okay, stop with the compliments Holland. So where are we heading to?" I ask.

"How about All Seasons and then to the park and then you could go visit your mother." Tom suggests.

"Sounds perfect." I say.

We entered All Seasons, the smell of coffee was amazing and awakening. I was glad to be back at All Seasons, not only because of the Coffee Cuppacino but to see Austin again, what he's a great friend.

"Two Coffee Cupuccino's and 4 chocolate muffins." Tom says to to the new employed girl, I read her name tag, Emily.

"Of...C...course." The girl stutters and Tom pays for breakfast, even after I told him that I would.

After a few minutes of waiting, our order was finally called.

"Order 13, ready for pick up." Austin announces.

Tom goes over to him and takes the order and I decided to say hi.

"Hey Austin." I say and look up at him.

"Alana, long time no see. So what, you found a better coffee shop?" Austin teases.

"Nope. The work place is being remodeled, so all employees were given off from Thursday till Sunday." I say and smile.

"Cool. Hey, I heard about your mom. I'm sorry, she's a strong lady, she'll make it out." Austin says.

"Thanks. And hey, I haven't introduced you yet to Tom. Tom this is Austin, Austin this is Tom." I say and the took shake hands.
