"How could you not have asked him?" Jessica questions with a smile. She's seated across me at my desk.

"I don't know," I shrug my shoulders not really caring.

"You do realise this is the first time you have spoken about a boy? Are you crushing on this mystery guy?" She interrogates.

"Me, p-shh. Really Jessica?" I ask her, trying to hide the fact that I actually like this mystery guy who ran into me.

"You do! You do!" Jessica yells but I quickly jump up and cover her mouth.

"I'm sure this thing will pass."

"There's many fish in the sea." Jessica adds.

"I'm not going to go fishing anytime soon." I say.

Weeks drag on. Hours turned into days and days turned into weeks. After the jam packed 3 weeks my schedule was finally empty. Since today was Friday night I decided to treat myself to a nice dinner at some restaurant.

"Carly, Cordelia, Sam, and I are headed to a club. You wanna join?" Jessica asks.

"Please," Cordelia pleads with puppy dog eyes. Carly and Sam try to copy Cordelia but they miserably fail.

"Okay," I give in. I usually don't do this kind of thing so why not give it a try?

Jessica drives me home where I packed a duffle bag with PJs, toiletries, extra clothing too and sneakers. Cordelia, Carly and Sam did the same and we were off to Jessica's home.

Jessica layed outfits out for all of us. Carly wore a black jeans with a   burgundy coloured bralet with a black bomber jacket and black combat boots. Her hair was placed into a high messy ponytail, a touch of red lips, eyeliner, blush, mascara and a smokey eyes and she was done.

Cordelia wore something feminine; a long sleeved v- neck leopard printed dress that ended 8 inches above her knees. And a black scarf and black platform stilettos. Her hair was straight and her makeup was a blush lip with mascara and eye shadow.

Sam wore a red jumpsuit. The back had a long v-line and her stomach area was visible due to the transparent fabric. She wore black cutout heels, he hair was placed into a low neat bun and she word good earrings with a gold necklace, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow and pink lipstick.

Jessica went for a black asymmetric closing dress that ended 12 inches above her knees and added on some tall black boots with some makeup.

After outfits and outfits, Jessica had finally given in and gave me something I felt was appropriate to wear. A tight fitting navy blue dress, with a black leather jacket and black peep-toe platform T-strap heels. My hair was out into curls, I added in some lipgloss and mascara.

We got to the club and the girls decided to begin the night with some tequila shots. Somehow I was persuaded to join them in their shots. 6 Tequila shots later and I was beginning to feel a bit drowsy.

Cordelia then ordered us some brandy, and all I can say is that I'm never drinking that again. The girls took off dancing leaving me alone. I decided to go to the bar and get some water. I took a seat and soon a young familiar gentleman took a seat next to me.

"Hey you that girl at the coffee shop I knocked into." He says with a smile. He seemed to be very sober.

"And you're that guy I knocked into." I say and smile.

"So I'm still wondering if I could make it up to you, for spilling your coffee and running into you." He offers.

"I'd like that." I say shyly.

"So are you free tomorrow afternoon at 2?" He asks.

"In fact I am, I'm Alana by the way." I say and extended my hand to him.

"Tom." Tom says and shakes my hand.

"How about we meet at the coffee shop, All Seasons? The one where we bumped into one another." Tom explains.

"Sounds good." I say.

Then the speakers of the club begins blaring Starships by Nicki Minaj.

"Come on dance with me." Tom says and get off his seat and extends a hand out for me.

"I don't know how." I say. Dancing with someone I don't know makes me a bit uncomfortable. I've taken lessons but I knew the people at least from work or from school.

"Just go wild." Tom says.

I gladly take his hand and we're off dancing and jumping around on the dance floor with many other people, well we weren't really dancing. It was like my mind was clear, I was enjoying myself once again after 8 years. I was laughing and so was Tom.

Once Starships were over the DJ began playing remixes. Currently we were dancing to Come And Get It, the remix by Jump Smokers.

Everyone on the dance floor began singing and dancing along. My hair was messed up by now. My feet seemed to be doing okay after an hour of dancing with Tom. Another hour passes and we return to the bar.

"You're quite the dancer." Tom says and we both laugh.

"Well thanks."

We both order an ice cold water.

"So who are you here with?" Tom asks.

"My friends, but as you can see they are dancing. They're most likely way past the point of tipsy?" I say, pointing to my friends.

"What about you?" I ask.

"I just wanted some time out. But two of my buds are here." Tom says.

"Did I tell you that you look beautiful this evening? You truly do." Tom says.

"So you're telling me that the other day we bumped into one another I wasn't beautiful?" I tease.

"No,no. I didn't mean that, you looked beautiful then too. I mean um..." I cut Tom off.

"It's okay I was only teasing you. And thanks for the compliment. You look really handsome Tom." I say my eyes lingering on him.

"Um...thanks." Tom says.

"Not use to complements?" I question.

"I certainly am but when you said that I actually believed it." Tome said.

"Something about you seems very familiar." I say trying to place his familiar features.

"I get that a lot." Tom says fiddling with his beanie, the same one he had on the day I first spoke to him.
