Chapter twenty nine - Embarrassment (Part ²)

"It seems like yesterday when this video was taken." My mother says.

"You had platinum like coloured hair?" Tom questions.

"Yes, she was the cutes. As she got older her hair got darker. It looked like she had highlights in her hair. Now she's something along a dirty blond haired girl, I guess." My mom says.

"But Tom, one thing you didn't know is that Alana also liked dancing, singing and acting." My mom says and I immediately feel the heat rush to my cheeks.

"Oh really. Acting huh?" Tom says and I can feel his eyes on me. I hold my breath and then focus on the television and continue breathing normally.

**Part 2 of the video**

A sixteen year old Alana did a contemporary dance at the school variety concert in memory of her late father.

She did a contemporary dance to A thousand Years by Christina Perri. With every movement that she did there was emotion. She danced and danced.

Once she was done she danced with her grandfather and other girls with their dad's joined her on the stage, to perform the next part of the variety concert. They all danced to Dance With My Father. That was at the beginning of the concert.

The rest of the concert was filled with laughter and happiness. The rest of the school including Alana then did their Christmas special.

**Part 2 of the video over**

"How long has Alana been doing dancing?" Tom asks.

"She began taking classes since the age of four, but at the age of seven she wanted to many other dance styles. She got into Waltzing, hip hop, ballroom and contemporary. She stopped all the other dances at the age of eleven and kept contemporary until the age of fifteen." My mom explains.

"Not only was she into soccer league but she can dance, sing and act. Wow what did I do you get a girl like your daughter Mrs Montez?" Tom asks.

"I don't know Tom. But I know that she wonders that everyday how she got a guy like you." My mom says.

"I do, everyday." I say and peck Tom's lips. I snuggle back into his chest. I just had to say that because i always wonder what I did to get a guy like him, cute, adorable laugh, and amazing and let's not forget sexy, hot and handsome and an actor.

"Alana's a very athletic person. I don't know where my kids get it from. Their father and I are far from athletic. And it's Harper dear." My mom tells Tom.

The the third part of the video starts.

"Oh fuck." I say and cover my head with the blanket but I peek out the blanket.

"Alana Giselle Harper Montez, language." My mom scolded.

"Sorry mom." I said.

**Part 3 of the video**

At the age of thirteen Alana's dad asked her to do a play, the money that the play received would be donated and given to a charity for kids.

Young Alana played the role of the beautiful, naive, courages and in love , Juliet Capulet. While a tall blond haired fourteen year old boy played the intelligent, immature, affectionate and impulsive, Romeo Montague. These two were casted to play Romeo and Juliet for Act 2 Scene 2 of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.
