"Sometimes we have to stop being scared and just go for it. Either it will work, or it won't. That's life." - Rutva Trivedi

The teens were left in the room and shared looks.
"This will all work out right?" Ross asked.
"Of course! With our powers and our increased senses, we'll be fine." Jess claimed with a wave of her hand.
"Guys, I think we need a group name other than 'Hybrids'." Adam laughed out.
"Couldn't hurt." Cory said.
"Well, the only thing I want, is to see the sky. It's been so long." Lizzie stated.
"If you think about it, were kind of like an army." Barney said.
"I can see why you think that." Red smiled.
"Then how about, 'The Sky Army'. We all want to see the outdoors again, right? It fits." Max suggested.
"Perfect. The Sky Army." Adam said, satisfied.
Silence covered the room in a thick blanket. They were actually doing this. They were leaving. Escaping. They all silently agreed to just sit down and wait. Minutes went by slowly for the eleven teens as they were approaching one of the most stressful points in their lives. Sure, there experiments had been a rough time, but they'd never actually went up against the guards.
In their time here, only a few people were heard about trying to escape. They had eavesdropped on conversations during lunch breaks and always heard the same thing.
'There's no escaping with the beasts around.'
Apparently from the time they had arrived the fabled 'beast' had children, and no one knew what they were. But there were several theories. Some people said they were things known as 'Wendigos', or Minotaur's, even the occasional topic of Cerberus the three headed dog of Hades came up at some point. The teens never really accounted the beast in any of their books, but with the information gained in the few days they knew exactly what they were dealing with.
An hour passed and the door opened revealing Eric. He walked in the room carrying several coloured bookbags.
"Get your stuff packed. We'll be arriving in 30 to take you to the bus." He spoke, chucking the bags at the teens before slamming the door closed.
"What's up his butt." Shelby commented as the kids grabbed their respected colour bag.
"I don't know, but we should get stuff we'd need for after we escape. Lizzie, Shelby, get all of the information we have on this place. Jess, get you girls some clothes. Ross, Jin, Red, Barney, get all of our clothes. Cory, Max, Joel, and I will get food and other supplies we have stored. Don't leave anything." Adam ordered. Everyone nodded and went to do their respected jobs, shoving things in their bags.
As soon as they finished they regathered at the 'living room' and waited.
"We just have to hope they don't look through our bags." Max said.
"If anything, I can make sure the bags we really need are invisible. I've been working on it, and I can now turn things, besides myself, invisible." Shelby claimed.
"Good idea." Adam said. "Is any of our abilities going to be useful?" Adam asked everyone else.
"I could pause time long enough for us to get away without being noticed." Cory said. Adam nodded. The doors to the room opened and Adam nodded to Shelby who's eyes lit up and the bags with their information disappeared.
"Come with us." The guards that had walked into the room spoke, motioning them out. The teens complied and walked out of the room. Instead of going towards the cafeteria they went the opposite direction. A long corridor led to a door with a keypad. 7-9-4-7. Not that it mattered.
The door opened and they were led into a square room with tons of doors. Many of them had key codes and one had a red sigh saying 'EXIT'. They were led to the Exit door and finally they saw it. The sky. The Sky Army was seeing the sky. For the first time in seven years. And they were going to make sure they could see it forever.
If it all went according to plan.
They eleven were pushed into a school bus and told to wait. They assumed they were going to retrieve Ian and his husband. The teens sat in cluster on the bus and sat in silence. Their hearts were going at a mile a minute and the stress was real. But, it would be even realer soon enough.
A few minutes later, the guards came back out with a doctor who was carrying another man. The doctor wore sunglasses and a long white lab coat and the other man wore a patients outfit. They were led on the bus and the guards sat at the very front and one of them sat to drive. When they started moving Shelby sighed and her eyes dimmed. She slumped against the seat and closed her eyes.
"Is she okay?" Ian whispered. Cory poked her knee and she just shushed him.
"She's fine, just drained a bit." Cory muttered.
"Ah." Ian mumbled.
"Phoebe filled you in right?" Adam murmured. Ian nodded.
"I'll yawn when its time." Ian warned. The others nodded and decided to chill out until then.
