{3rd person}
It wasn't until later when the kids woke up. And there surroundings were drastically different from the dim cell they used to be in. It was a very big room and the walls were painted a light ivory with a blue accent wall. There was a sectional wall that closed off the beds that was also blue. 11 beds of different colours were in front of the blue wall, which they were laying on. A white rug laid on the dark gray carpet under the beds, and there was was that faded to a darker gray in the front room. In one corner adjacent from the sectional blue wall was a small kitchen area with an island and a dining section. Across from the kitchen was a large television. There was also many small couches, and various gaming devices on a t.v. stand. A small bookcase filled to the brim with different video games was next to the t.v. stand, along with a grandfathers clock. Nearby, a white iron door with a keypad was placed. Most likely the entrance and exit. Near the kitchen was two doors, one pink, one blue. Upon further inspection lead to bathrooms and a large closet for each gender. (Above.. sorry its blurry it totally wasn't made with MS Paint....lies)
"This is.. nice?" Adam said confused. They were kidnapped and tested on and now? They were practically living in luxury.
"Certainly." Jin said sarcastically. "Anyways, after some research and deduction, I have discovered that I have two powers." Jin continued. He got some looks of disbelief in return. "Super-hearing and X-ray vision. I believe that if I have two powers than the rest of us do as well."
"I can fly!" Jess said enthusiastically. Jin nodded.
"So, should we try and figure them all out?" Lizzie asked. Jin nodded. Adam pumped his fist in the air with a "Yes!".
"Lets go over the powers we already know." Jin started. "Adam had super-strength. Jess can fly. Shelby has invisibility. I have Super-hearing and X-ray vision. Max has Mind-reading. Anything else?" Jin asked. Red nodded. Jin motioned for him to continue.
"My arm was like.. melting? I guess. But it didn't burn and it went back to my arm when I notice it." Red explained to the best of his abilities.
"Liquification. You can turn into a liquid." Jin explained. Red nodded. "It also seems that our eyes light up certain colours when we use our abilities." The others nodded remembering Jin's glowing purple eyes. "Anyways, who would like to start? I suggest someone who has already discovered a power to save time." Red raised his hand. Jin nodded to him.
"Okay how do I do this? Last time I did it I was just lost in thought." Red asked. Jin thought for a moment.
"These powers seem to represent us in some way. I am a very good listener, and I see exceptionally well. Try and think of something that represents you." Jin explained. Red nodded. His eyes lit up a soft red and his arms and legs started to drip. Soon enough he was a puddle on the floor.
"Please go back, that's so weird." Cory said. Red almost immediately went back to normal. His eyes dulled out.
"Okay, now we need to find your other power." Jin said. Red's eyes lit up again but nothing seemed to happen. "Strange, what are you thinking about."
"I used to run a lot." Red said with a nervous look. Jin nodded.
"Maybe try and run?" Joel suggested. Red took a step forward and was halfway across the room.
"Super-speed." Jin said. Red's eyes lit up in amazement and he started to run around the room. He wasn't paying attention and was headed straight for Shelby. He collided with a white force and bounced back, his eyes returning to normal. Shelby looked in awe at the glowing white force field she had made. "Two in one go. Nice." Jin commented. The force field disappeared and her eyes stopped glowing white.
"So Shelby's got Invisibility and force fields?" Barney asked. Jin nodded. Jess piped up.
"Me next. Me next." She giggled. Her eyes lit up a magenta and she jumped, hovering in mid-air. When she got back to the floor she curtsied.
"So, flight. Try and see what your other power is." Jin said. Jess nodded. Her eyes lit up and a video game flew over, nearly knocking Adam in the face.
"Telekinesis then." Adam said with wide eyes.
"Sorry!" Jess apologized.
"C-Could I go next?" Ross asked timidly. Jin nodded. Ross' eyes lit up a gray colour and another Ross appeared.
"There's two of you!" Shelby gasped happily. Ross 2 disappeared along with the glow from the original's eyes.
"Self-Multiplication." Jin stated. "Try for another." Ross nodded his eyes lighting up again. His skin started to turn black and he started to shrink. The sounds of bones breaking and tearing filled the room making the others cringe. When Ross wasn't black anymore everyone looked at him. A gray squirrel was there instead of Ross.
"Shape-shifting." Jin said trying not to cringe.
"Can you just stay that way for a while, I don't want to hear that sound again." Joel asked, with nods of agreement from the others. Ross nodded and Shelby picked him up to pet him.
"Who's next?" Jin asked. Max raised his hand. Jin nodded to him. Max's eyes lit up an orange.
"I can hear Shelby fangirling about how cute Ross is." Max stated with a smirk. Shelby's face lit up and Ross squeaked. Jess walked over and patted him on the head.
"Shelby's right though. He's adorable." Jess said with a smile. Ross squeaked again.
"Ok, next." Jin said. Joel collapsed.
"Ow!" He claimed holding his leg. Max immediately stopped, his eyes dimming.
"Pain-Infliction." Jin said.
"Oh, I'm sorry dude!" Max said. Lizzie ran over to Joel and looked him over, her eyes glowing a soft pink. A pink aura surrounded Joel's leg and Lizzie kept asking if he was okay.
"Lizzie, you're healing him." Cory said in shock. Lizzie looked to Joel's leg with a gasp.
"Hey, it doesn't hurt anymore." Joel said in reassurance. A beep went off from somewhere and a chime was heard. The kids looked to the grandfather clock and saw the time. 10:00.
"All hybrids are required to go to bed at this time. I repeat, all hybrids are required to be in bed at this time." A lady over the intercom spoke.
"We'll continue this in the morning."
