Water. H2O. Liquid. Transparent. Cure. That was Luke. Maybe not transparent. More of translucent. I don't really know what he was thinking at times, unlike when I looked at Ryan.

He was definitely transparent.

Earth. Soil. Solid. Pain. Rocky. That was also Luke. He was most definitely solid and whatever relationship, be it friends or parents, it was rocky. When a relationship is rocky, pain comes in. Luke is in pain.

So am I. I am pain itself.

Fire. Blaze. Unknown. Heat. Chaos. This is me. Fire does not help anyone. Fire is only an inspiration, to guide us through the tough times before it engulfs us, causing chaos everywhere.

Mix Earth and Fire together, and it's total destruction. Me.

Air. Breeze. Gas. Fresh. Rejuvenation. Such a wonderful thing, to feel at ease with just a little breeze. It's rare to find someone who is Air. It's rare to find people like Tristan and Ryan. Air and Water. Reincarnation.

Not me.

"Trin!" I jumped, blinking multiple times to snap myself back into reality. I fumbled with my books on my desk and looked up to find myself staring into the deep hazel eyes that belonged to Tristan.

"What is it, Tris?" I groaned, letting my head rest on the mahogany table. I dragged an index finger down the sleek, shiny wood as Tristan spoke.

"Mum and dad wants us downstairs for dinner in five." I nodded, making swirly patterns instead of lines, now.

"Are you okay, Trin?" he asked, grabbing my hand. I yanked it out of his grasp and went back to making swirls. "I'm okay," I told him. "Just thinking about the elements."

Tristan groaned, using his palm to slap his forehead. "Why are you still into those things? Elements are just the bare essentials for us to survive. That's it. I'm not reincarnation or whatever."

"Tell that to mum," I mumbled. "She wanted to call us Zero and Infinity if you had came first."

Tristan rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Be down in five."

I tossed about in bed, clearly unable to fall asleep. I sat up, burying my face in my hands when there was a soft knock.

The window.

Another pebble was thrown at my window and I slowly walked over to open it. I leaned out and looked down to see Luke standing there, with a huge grin on his face.

What? How the heck does he know where I live?

"Trinity! Hey!" he waved, tossing a rock up in the air and then catching it.

"How do you know where I live?" I hissed. "And what the fuck are you doing here?"

"I live just around the corner! We take the same bus, only that you never noticed," he said, still smiling. "As to answer your other question, I'm here to take you out."

I stood there, bewildered. He wanted to take me out? Why not go with him? I couldn't sleep. This was probably the adventure I needed.

I slipped on my sneakers and began to slowly climb out of my window. I didn't bother changing out of my hoodie and sweats.

"Hey Trinity," Luke smiled softly, his fingers intertwining with mine as we walked down the street to his car.

Or should I say, his motorcycle.

"No hesitation to get on? Someone's eager to be pressed up against me," he smirked as I slipped on a helmet.

"Shut up," I scowled. "I haven't ridden a bike in a long time." Luke grins as he started the engine. "Hold on to me tight, sweetheart. I like to go fast."

"Good," I nodded. "I like fast."

It was the only way to forget that I am destruction, and to think I am Air.
