"Can?" Tin spoke softly as he carefully held Can's head in his hands. "Look at me. What's wrong?" He asked.
Can shook his head as more tears fell. He sat up a little and looked Tin in the eye, wiping his cheeks.
"I think we should break up." He said sniffling.
"W-what?" Tin asked moving closer. He shook his head and caressed Can's cheeks. "No. What is going on with you?"
"You deserve more than me. God, I'm horrible." He said before taking a deep breath. "I lied to you." Can admitted.
Tin looked at him confused. "Lied how?"
"Well, it wasn't really a lie. I just didn't tell you things, and that is kind of like lying, apparently." He told Tin.
"Can, get to the point." He said. Can sighed again and nodded.
"I want you to just sit there and listen. I don't want you to interrupt, no matter how much you want too."
Tin nodded.
"Okay, well before I stayed the night with you, when I was drunk, I was still in contact with Boom. I was asking him if we could meet up, but I swear I only wanted to talk. I have zero feelings towards him. He refused so I didn't try again. When I met you, I lied about knowing who you were. Once we started to know each other more, I got scared and had to tell you. I didn't want out relationship to be built on lies. And that night in the club, I'm sorry. I didn't even let him touch me. I couldn't. When you called me a good digger, I was so angry and upset. Everything I went through with Boom. Everything before and after him scared me as well." Can explained as Tin sat there, listening to every word.
"What do you mean what happened before and after him?" Tin asked quietly.
Can closed his eyes and let out a shaky breath as more tears rolled down his face.
"My parents aren't together anymore because of me. When I was 14, my dad sexually molested me. My mom believed me, but it didn't hold up in court so he wasn't arrested. Mom takes Ley to visit him every once in a while, but I'm the reason they got divorced." Can said shaking his head and inhaling deeply.
"No. No." Tin said shaking his head. "Can, that wasn't your fault."
"Maybe, maybe not, but what happened after Boom was definantly my fault." He said nodding. "I was so broken about everything and needed someone. I started h-having sex with random guys f-for money. I was a male hooker of sorts." Can said as he dropped his head in his hands.
Tin sat there and only stared at Can, not able to say anything.
"When you called me a good digger, it brought back those memories. Boom keeps coming around asking for be back, and earlier he said he would tell you that I wasn't being truthful and that you would leave me behind in the mud where I belong. And it's okay if you do, because I do belong in the mud. I'm dirty and worthless. I sold my body and you deserve more than me. I've been a horrible boyfriend. I haven't been there for you. I'm been to worried about myself and my friends."
"Can." Tin spoke softly.
"If you're going to leave, please just go. I couldn't bare it if yo-"
Can was cut of by a page of lips on his own. Can closed his eyes and let the tears fall harder.
Neither one of them moved their lips. They just sat there taking in all they could.
Tin pulled back and rested his forehead against Can's.
"I'm not going to leave you. I would never." Tin said making Can look him in the eye. "I don't care what you did before we met. I only care about what you do now. And you never have to feel that way again. I will own your body forever and you'll never have to sell it again. Do you understand me?" Can nodded his head softly.
Tin wrapped his arms around Can's waist and hugged him tightly.
Can threw his arms around Tin's neck and burried his face into the crook of his neck.
"I love you, and I promise you that I'm just as damaged as you. This is why we deserve each other."
