After their hot make out session, they decided to go downstairs and face the questions and teasing from his mother and Ley.
After breakfast, Tin dropped Can off at the college so he could finnish up with a project he was doing for one of his classes.
Tin had nothing to do, and didn't really feel like waiting all that time, so he decided to go bac to his own house, even if he dreaded it majorly.
"Where were you?" His mother asked as he walked up the stairs. He sighed deeply before answering her.
"A friends." He said, not stopping to listen to her question him if he was doing drugs with this friend or not.
They still didn't believe that he was a drug addict.
When he got to his room, he flopped down on his bed and pulled out his phone, messaging Can.
TIN: Want to go out this Friday?
CAN: Of course. I would love to.
Tin smiled at his response before shaking his head and throwing his phone beside him on the bed.
He laid and back looked up at the ceiling, smiling.
He couldn't remember a time when he felt as happy as he did when he was with Can. He had never felt that since hearing his brother say he wished he was dead. He felt different with Can. More free. More trusting. And, that scared him a little.
He wasn't one to open up his heart like that so easliy. Can was different. He was good for Tin.
Tin often stayed at Can's house. Can understood his want to get away from his home. His parents. His brother. Bad memories. Can gladly welcomed him.
Tin stayed in his room until it was time for him to go pick Can up again.
When he arrived at the college, he waited in the parking lot for Can. When he spotted Can, he smiled and he opened the door and was about to get out until he saw Can's angry face, and someone trailing behind him.
Boom.
He couldn't hear what Can was saying, which was surprising because it looked like he was yelling loudly. He could also see Can's dramatic hand movements.
Boom went to touch Can's arm, but he slapped it away.
Can said one more thing before turning and walking towards Tin's car. Boom stood in his spot, not following.
Can got in Tin's car with a slam of the door.
"Hey." Tin said reaching for Can's hand. He brought it to his lips and kissed it softly. "What's wrong? Something with the project?" He asked. He didn't want to bombard him with questions about Boom. He wanted Can to tell him himself.
"Yeah. One of the posters got ruined." He said smiling softly, pulling his hand out of Tin's.
"Is that all?" He asked quietly. Can laughed.
"Why are you asking so many questions?" He questioned. Tin cleared his throat and sat in his seat the right way.
"I'm not. I'm just making sure you're okay." He said before starting the car and driving out of the parking lot.
He wondered why can didn't just tell him the truth about Boom being there. Tin felt upset, but also felt like he shouldn't be.
There had to be some logical reason why Can lied, and Tin had to trust him.
Tin drove Can back to his own house and sat with him on the couch as they watched a movie.
Tin tried to pay attention, but couldn't seem to. His mind kept wondering to other places. Places he didn't want them to go to.
"I'm not feeling to well." Tin said standing up. Can looked at him, worried.
"Do you want to stay the night?"
"I better not." Tin said shaking his head. "I don't want to get you sick as well." He said kissing Can's forehead.
Can smiled and nodded.
"Okay, but text or call me when you get home." He told him. Tin laughed and nodded.
"Will do."
They said their goodbyes to one another and Tin left.
Once Tin arrived back at his own house, he sat in the car for a little while longer.
He didn't feel like going inside and seeing his family, and something in him didn't want to be with Can at the moment.
He tired to reason that Can had a good reason to lie, but he wasn't thinking of any. There were only bad ones.
Maybe he and Boom did something and Can was angry because Boom was gonna tell Tin.
Tin knew that it was probably a long shot, but nothing is impossible.
He tried to not let it get to his heart.
If he can look past Can lying to him about knowing who he truly was, can't he look past this simple lie?
He wanted to trust Can. He was different then everyone else. He didn't want to hurt Tin. Did he?
