MYSTIC FALLS HIGH SCHOOL

"The promise of YOUR future!" Aella read on the banner as she and Stefan entered the school. "God! Can they get any cornier?"

Stefan chuckled, pulling her close, and redirecting her past one particular table, "I think the biology table got that beat."

Aella raised a brow at her boyfriend until she looked over at the table and saw the t-shirt one of the recruiters was wearing, 'THEY CALL ME DJ ENZYME CUZ I'M HERE TO BREAK IT DOWN,' "Oh my god!" Aella snorted, putting her face in Stefan's shoulder to hide her laughter, but from the shaking of Stefan's body, he was having a hard time too.

Stefan tried to control his laughter as he asked, "Do you have an idea of a potential career?"

Aella grinned at him, and Stefan knew the answer wouldn't be a straight one, "I would like..." Aella began, finger tapping her lips slyly. "...to be..."

Stefan grinned, "To be?"

Aella stood up straight, her face now serious, which had Stefan very confused. Aella took a deep breath and looked to her boyfriend, "Stefan, I'm going to tell you my dream job, that has been my dream job practically since I knew what a dream job was... so no laughing, please."

Stefan felt the who atmosphere change as he pulled Aella closer, it wasn't often Aella was this serious, "Absolutely, what is it?"

Aella looked around the room, and Stefan could see she felt a little uncomfortable, "I would like to be..."

Stefan felt like if he were sat down, he would be on the edge of his chair, as Aella slowly trailed off her words... and then it came... the gleam blooming in her eyes, and it continued until a sly smile rested there instead of the insecure one:

"The person that pushes the scared skydivers out of the plane."

It took Stefan a minute to realize Aella had played him, until Aella smiled, "Bazinga!" And ran past him to the next room, him following her with his own laughter echoing the halls... a feat he never expected to happen at school... ever!

They moved onto the next few rooms, their laughter slowing down as they passed each booth uninterested, "So how do you feel today went?" Aella asked her chuckles dying as she leafed through a brochure on 'Exploring Careers in Counselling.' Instead of dropping it as she had with other flyers, she placed it in her bag.

Stefan watched the motion, but didn't say anything, "I think it went very well." He took hold of her hand as Aella moved out of that classroom, happy to follow her lead, "And you were right about Mr. Saltzman, he's a good teacher." He motioned to the leaflets that Aella had been placing in her bag, "So? What're your thoughts on your plans for the future?"

"Hmmm," Aella pursed her lips as she pulled out the two leaflets. "Well, apart from being the most awesome girlfriend to a certain, Stefan Salvatore." She smirked at the proud smile on his face before holding out the two brochures, "I really enjoyed the Physiotherapy classes we took in gym last year, and counseling stood out because people do come to me for advice. I mean, it might not be the best advice sometimes, but that's their fault more than mine, I'm sure."

"I'm sure," Stefan tried not to smile. He took the Physiotherapy leaflet from her, his brow raised, "Well, this one could be much more fun for the both of us."

"Wha-Oh!" Aella got his meaning and leaned in closer to him, "Ooh La La."

"Ooh La La indeed," Stefan smirked and leaned down, kissing her. It didn't take long for the kiss to grow passionate, making the people around them become fairly uncomfortable.
