Chapter 91 - She what?!

Stefan zipped up Aella's duffle, the bag she always used when she was sleeping over at Caroline's if there was advanced notice. Her toiletries were already packed, so all Stefan had to do was pick out a change of clothes for his girlfriend.

The door slamming shut downstairs had Stefan frowning, Elena and Jenna knew that Jeremy and Anna would be asleep. He silently stepped down the stairs, straightened up when he saw it was Elena hanging up her jacket, "Hey. How was John?"

Elena shrugged, wrapping her arms around herself, "Not good."

She sniffed, stepping towards Stefan, "First Caroline, now John..." Stefan tensed up when Elena wrapped her arms around his middle. Sure, they had hugged in the past but for her to do so-

Stefan pulled back and grabbed hold of her neck. His fangs descended as he snarled out, "Katherine!"

Katherine smirked up at him, "At least I fooled one of you."

He rushed them over to the wall, slamming her against it. But Katherine was unaffected as she batted her eyelashes up at him, "Feel better?"

Suddenly, he heard the door open, and Elena whisper out to him, "Stefan?"

Stefan's attention went towards the real Elena. With him distracted, Katherine simply grabbed his arms, twisting it and throwing him onto the floor. Hearing the bang, Elena ran into the Living Room to see Stefan on the floor, but no one else was in the room.

Running towards the vampire, she helped him up, confused why he was on the floor, "Stefan?"

Jenna, just behind Elena, frowned at Stefan, "What happened?"

Stefan righted himself as he growled out, "Katherine."

MYSTIC FALLS HOSPITAL

Bonnie slowly entered the Emergency Room, head-turning trying to spot her cousin and avoid fighting with her again. When she saw Matt asleep in the corridor, she walked over to him and gently shook his shoulder, "Matt?"

Matt let out a groan as his head turned towards the voice, "Bonnie?"

Bonnie looked at his position, "That doesn't look comfortable at all."

Matt stretched his neck in all four directions hoping to loosen the knots there, "It wasn't, but at least I got some sleep."

Bonnie bit her lip, "How is she?"

Matt's lips twitched as he indicated with his head for her to go to Caroline's room, "See for yourself."

Frowning at how calm he seemed, Bonnie walked over to Caroline's room, only to frown deeper when she heard the laughter echoing through the door. Pushing the door opened, she was amazed to see Caroline sitting up in bed, with Aella next to her, and Stefan on a chair next to Aella laughing at the TV.

"Caroline?"

The three turned at Bonnie's voice, Caroline's eyes lighting up at seeing her friend, "Bonnie!"

"I'm confused," Bonnie tilted her head at the scene.

"It's a miracle, right?" Matt smirked as he nudged by Bonnie, walking over to Caroline and kissing her head. "But she's watching Jersey Shore, so I think she might have some brain damage."

Aella snorted as Caroline pointed to Matt in faux anger, "Don't be hating on my Jersey Shore."

Stefan shook his head, "She just peed on the floor at a nightclub and cleaned it up with water from the soda stream!"
