Time Skip: 2 months later
In the past 2 months they continued building the house. The problem was, Clem couldn't walk so much like before because of her baby bump. Gabe, AJ and Kate worked on building the house and were almost done and wanted to surprise Clem with the almost done house
It was now morning as Gabe and Clem were still asleep
Kate quietly opened the door to wake up Gabe and AJ. Gabe asked Kate the last night to wake him up early in the morning. She walked to Gabes and Clems bed and tried to wake him up
"Gabe, wake up" Kate whispered as she poked his arm
Gabe moves a bit. He woke up as he rubbed his eyes.
"Kate, what do you want? It's 7 o'clock in the morning." Gabe said sounding exhausted as he rubbed his eyes
"You told me yesterday, to wake you up as soon as I'm awake so we can finish the house before Clem wakes up" Kate whispered
"Oh yeah. That's right. Is AJ out there?" Gabe whispered
"No, he's still asleep. Should I wake him up too? " Kate whispered
"Nah. We can finish it with just the two of us." Gabe Said quietly
"Okay, then let's go" Kate said as she walked to the dorm door
Gabe quietly and carefully got out of bed as he then followed Kate
"How did you sleep? " Kate asked after Gabe closed the door
"Pretty good. Every night is good when I sleep with my wife." Gabe said smiling
"Yeah, I can imagine" Kate chuckled
"Yeah, I love her. She's the best wife I could've ever asked for." Gabe said
"You already said that a couple times. Something like four to five hundred times a day" Kate joked
"Ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha. Very funny." Gabe said sarcastically before actually laughing
"What do you think, how many hours do we need to finish the house? " Kate asked after they stopped laughing
"Well everything is mostly built so I say about 2-3 hours. We'll be done by about 11." Gabe Said
"Sounds great. I just hope Clem doesn't wake up before we're done" Kate said as they were approaching the house
"Don't worry. She's been sleeping in a lot lately. I think we will be good." Gabe Said
"Yeah, I guess you're right" Kate said
"Well we better get to it then." Gabe said as they got to the house
"What exactly do we have to do? " Kate asked
"Finish putting in all the furniture, install the door, finish the treehouse and the pool, and also put in that fireplace that Clementine asked for." Gabe said
"Alright, I can work on the fireplace, the door and the pool" Kate said
"Did she tell you, how the fireplace has to look like? " She asked
"It's already built. But we just have to put it in the living room." Gabe Said
"Okay, that's easy. What about the pool? " Kate asked
"We just need to bring over some water from the pond." Gabe said
"It's about halfway filled." Gabe said
"Okay, that's easy too. And I guess we already have the door somewhere, right? " Kate asked
"Yep. So let's get to work."Gabe Said psyching himself up.
