They walked back to the dorm as AJ tried to concentrate so he wouldn't drop the plate on accident
They got to the dorm as Violet opened the door for AJ
AJ walked in with Violet behind him.
"Hey dad. Lunch is ready" AJ said smiling
"I think you mean dinner?" Gabe asked jokingly
AJ looked outside and noticed that the sun was already setting.
"Okay. Dinner is ready! " AJ said smiling
"That's better." Gabe said as Violet handed him his plate
"Should we wake up mom? " AJ asked sitting down on his bed with his plate
"No. We should let her rest. She'll wake up and eat her food when she's ready." Gabe Said digging in as Violet left
"She sleeps more than when I was a toddler" AJ giggled starting to eat his food
"Yeah but she's getting older so she needs it." Gabe joked while eating
"You're older than her" AJ laughed
"Still." Gabe said laughing as well
As they laughed, Clementine let out cute little snores
AJ looked at Clem and smiled.
"Today, you called Louis your brother. Why didn't you tell me you have a brother? " AJ asked
"He's not my real brother. He's kind of like my best friend who is super close to me." Gabe said
"So, Tenn is my brother? " AJ asked
"If you want him to be. But he wouldn't be like your real brother but you can basically act like you guys are brothers." Gabe tried to explain
"That's confusing me... He is my brother but not my real brother? " AJ asked before he continued eating
"Yeah Kinda. It's a little hard to explain." Gabe said
"Yeah it's a little hard to understand" AJ giggled
"I'll just say that he's such a good friend that he's like a brother to be even though he's not my real brother if that makes any sense." Gabe explained
"So Tenn is my brother-friend and if you get a boy when mom is pregnant some day, he'd be my real brother... I think I got it now" AJ giggled
"Yeah you got it." Gabe said ruffling his hair and smiling
"When do you two want to get a baby? " AJ asked
"Why do you ask?" Gabe asked curious
"I just wanted to know... I guess it would be nice to have a brother or sister" AJ answered
"Is that so?" Gabe asked grinning
"Yeah... I don't know... You said you had a sister too. How was that? Was it fun? " AJ said
"My sister... Meant the world to me. She was always so kind, so loving, so caring. She deserved a lot better than what happened to her." Gabe said getting serious
"What happened to her? " AJ asked sadly
"She got shot in the head by a man named badger. He was part of a group named the new frontier that strangely enough, it was run by my father." Gabe said as neither he or Clementine have ever told AJ the story
"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have asked that... " AJ said looking down.
"No it's OK. You deserve to know the full story of what happened. After all, it was because of the New Frontier that your mom and I actually met each other." Gabe Said smiling
