Chapter 64 - Her leg!

"Clem!!" Gabe said shouting as he ran back after Clem

Many walkers were following them in the alley as Clem still tried to stand up

Gabe got to her and he tried to help her up

"I...I can't... My leg hurts too much" Clem said while trying to stand up

"Come on, we have to go." Gabe Said still trying to get her up

"O..Okay. I'll try it" Clem said as she now stood up completely

Gabe put her arm around her shoulder and helped her walk away from the walkers

"We can...We can hide in there" Clem said pointing at a metal door beside them

"Hide? But I have to get you and AJ home." Gabe Said

"Gabe, I can't walk!" Clem said

"Then I'll carry you." Gabe Said putting Clem on his back

While Gabe was carrying Clem through the alley, AJ was killing every Walker that got close to them

"Don't worry, baby. I'm gonna get you home." Gabe Said to Clem as the three of them continued to run

"I'm so sorry" Clem said after they left the city

"Baby, it's not your fault." Gabe Said still carrying her

"But I brought us in this whole situation. I threw the grenade and because of that the herd showed up" Clem said

"Because of that, we are both alive and still have our stuff. You made the right call." Gabe Said

"We three are alive because of you, mom. Don't blame yourself" AJ said from behind

Clem didn't say anything, she just rested her head on Gabes shoulder

Gabe carried her all the way back to the school

"Where the hell are you guys? " Kate asked through the walkie talkie

"We are on our way back. Clem is hurt." Gabe Said on his walkie talkie

"Fuck... I'm gonna send someone out for you guys" Kate said

"Ok. Thank you." Gabe Said

They walked for another 10 minutes as three walkers walked out of the forest and walked towards AJ

"AJ, look out!" Gabe shouted

AJ immediately kicked the first walkers leg and then stabbed it's head but there were still two walkers left. One of them pushed AJ on the ground while he was trying to hold it off of him

Then out of nowhere the walkers head was bashed by a baseball bat and then the others walkers head as well. AJ pushed the walker off of him and looked up and saw Gwen standing in front of him with her baseball bat

"AJ!" Gwen Said relieved

AJ got up and couldn't believe that Gwen was there to help him, so he didn't say anything and just hugged her tightly as Gwen hugged back

Then after a few seconds Mitch, Violet and Louis catched up to them

"Are you okay? We came as fast as we could" Louis said

"Yes. Clem just hurt her ankle." Gabe Said

"Okay let's get you back to the school first" Louis said

"Ok." Gabe Said as he carried her inside

Kate was already waiting for them with Mari in her arms and with a worried look on her face
