Chapter 54 - Pleasure

Clem walked back into the house and shut the door behind her.

"Okay... What do I do now? " Clem asked herself

Mari stayed quiet while looking up at her

"Hey, how about we both go take a nap until daddy is back, huh? " Clem asked

Mari obviously didn't answer

"Okay, I take that as a yes" Clem said as she began walking upstairs

Mari then suddenly began to cry

"Shh... It's okay, sweetie" Clem said as she began rocking her slowly

Mari continued to cry

Mari continued to cry as the smell of her dirty diaper became noticeable

"Hm... I guess I have to change your diaper now" Clem said after she smelled it

"Okay let's change your diaper then" Clem said laying her down and began changing her diaper

Mari looked up at Clem while still crying

Clem then cleaned her up and threw the dirty diaper in the garbage can. She then began to put on Mari's clean diaper

Mari stopped crying but kept whimpering

"It's okay, sweetie. You have a clean diaper now" Clem said smiling at her

Mari then stopped crying all together but still whimpered a little while raising her arms up at Clem

Clem picked her up and held her in her arms before rocking her again. She then began humming a song for her

Mari then calmed down and stopped whimpering

Clem kept humming and rocking Mari slowly

Mari's eyelids slowly began to get heavy as her eyes drooped

Clem continued for a while to make sure she was asleep. She then put Mari carefully in her crib and kissed her forehead

Clem then walked out of the room and then to her bedroom. She grabbed her walkie talkie and turned it on.

"Hey baby, are you okay? " Clem asked

There was no answer

"Gabe? Are you there? " Clem asked

There was still no answer

Clem tried turning the walkie talkie off and then on again. "Gabe, please answer" Clem said

"Hey Clem, what's up?" Gabe answered

"Thank god... I just wanted to know, if you're okay" Clem said

"Yeah, we're OK. Nothing out here yet." Gabe said

"That's good" Clem said as she laid down in bed

"Anyways, how are you?" Gabe asked

"I'm pretty bored... I just had to change Mari's diaper and now she's asleep" Clem said

"Oh you changed your diaper? How did that go?" Gabe asked

"It was pretty easy, because I had to change AJs diapers when he was younger, so I had some practice" Clem said

"How gross was it?" Gabe asked

"It was gross, but not worse than a walker with it's guts hanging out" Clem joked

"Yeah you got a point there." Gabe Said giggling

"Come on, baby... Entertain me for a bit. I'm bored" Clem said giggling

"What do you want me to say?" Gabe asked giggling
