Gabe places Clem on the bed as he got her under the covers without waking her up
"Gabe... AJ... Where are you? " Clem said while she was still sleeping
Gabe looked at her confused as she talked in her sleep
"No... Why you? " Clem asked in her sleep
Gabe continued to be confused
"Why did you do this? " Clem asked as tears were streaming down her face
"Clem?" Gabe asked
"Don't... Leave me... " Clem said still in her sleep
"Honey?" Gabe asked getting worried
"I... I can't... " Clem said
Gabe kept listening to hear what she couldn't do
"I ...I can't shoot you... " Clem said
"Clem!!" Gabe said shaking her awake
Clem woke up with tears streaming down her face
"Clem. Are you ok, honey?" Gabe asked
Clem couldn't answer. She just kept crying
Gabe held on to her close out of pure love and comfort
Clem then started crying into his shoulder
"It's OK. It's OK. It was just a bad dream." Gabe said still hugging her as he stroked her hair
"N-No... I-It was worse than just a bad dream... " Clem said still crying
"How?" Gabe asked
"It... It was the same nightmare like always... But every time I have this nightmare, it gets worse" Clem said
"Tell me about it." Gabe said in support
"I.. I don't know if I can do this" Clem said
"Yes you can baby. Please tell me what happened." Gabe said
"The school got raided... Minnie was part of the raiders... She killed you with an axe...that's what always happens... But this time AJ got shot in the chest and as I tried to protect him, someone stabbed me in the stomach and killed our baby... " Clem said now crying even more
"Oh god, Clem." Gabe Said hugging her again but tighter
"Why do I have these nightmares?? " Clem asked crying in Gabe's shoulder
"I don't know baby. But that's all they are. Nightmares. None of it is real." Gabe said comforting her
"But it felt so fucking real" Clem said
"But it isn't. I promise." Gabe Said smiling at her
"How can this shit end? I mean every fucking night I dream exactly this nightmare and every fucking night it gets worse... " Clem said crying again
"I don't know baby. But we'll get through it together. Just like we have with all things."Gabe said caressing her cheek
Clem then hugged him tightly.
"Thanks... " Clem said smiling a bit
"Of course, the love of my life." Gabe Said smiling back
"What if I wouldn't sleep anymore? " Clem asked
"You can't do that. It wouldn't be healthy for you and the baby
"Y-You're right... " Clem said letting go before she laid down again
"Hey, you wanna tuck AJ in with me?" Gabe asked
"Oh.. Yeah" Clem said
"OK then. Let's go tuck him in." Gabe Said smiling at her
