Luke and Ashton are at another appointment today. They knew that the babies are growing well... so they thought.

"Babe I'm so excited." Luke said holding Ashton's hand as they walked into the office.

"Yeah I am too." Ashton said

"We might hear their heart beat again!" Luke cheered.

"If we do. I'm gonna cry. I'm not gonna lie." Ashton said

"I will to don't worry." Luke said

They got into the office Luke sat down while Ashton signed them in.

Luke looked around the office and realized that Lucy and Nick were there too. So he moved over to where they were at.

"Hi Lucy!" Luke cheered

"Luke! So how have you been?" she asked

"Amazing! The babies have been okay. What about you, how's your boy going?"

"Great. He's growing well."

Ashton sat next to Luke and started his own conversation with Nick.

"How's it goin'?" He asked

"Okay I guess cravings are just getting weirder everyday." He said

Ashton chuckled at his answer. That's the same thing Luke is going through right now. Cravings.

He started off first with pickles and chocolate. Then chocolate with pizza. Mostly all his cravings involved chocolate.

"Same. Maybe we should take them out to a buffet." Ashton said

"Ha, yeah. But then we will have to buy more food for the place."

"Doubt it."

"Well if you think about it. Luke is having twins. Lucy is having a boy. So you think they won't eat a lot of food?"

"You might be right."

"Luke Hemmings?" the nurse said.

Luke and Ashton stood up and walked towards the door. The nurse led them to the chair at the end of the hall.

She took Luke's weight and height. Normal.

She then took them to a room full of stickers of stars and spaceships. This gave Luke and idea next time he has kids. That's gonna be the theme.

"Dr. Janice will be with you shortly." She said before leaving the room.

Luke sat on the uncomfortable bed while Ashton sat in the chair.

"I wonder how the babies are doing." Luke said

"Yeah. We should start preparing everything when you go into labor."

"Yeah that's true."

"What do you put in the bag though?"

"I'm not sure we can ask the doctor when she comes in."

And soon enough the doctor walked in the room. She had a clipboard in her had and it looked like she was reading something.

"Good morning lads. Before we start the ultrasound any questions?" she asked setting the clipboard on the mini desk, big enough for a laptop to fit.

"Yeah. So when I go into labor what should I have in my bag?" Luke asked

"Well some clothes for you. Bottles to feed the babies. And clothes for them too. Diapers back clothing. Anything you think you need." She said

"Is labor gonna take a long time?" Luke asked wanting to know more.

"It depends Luke. You can be in labor for hours or maybe days. It all just depends." She answered quietly.

"Will I be able to be in the room with Luke when he's giving birth?" Ashton asked

"Yeah. The room is gonna be ready for when you guys get here." She said

"What do you do with the babies after they are born?" Luke asked

"We weight them. Take their height. Take footprints. Not that much." She responded

"That's all." Ashton said

"Okay then let's get this started."

Luke laid back on the bed. He lifted his sweater and shirt up. Dr. Janice put the very cold gel on Luke's bump.

He got the wand and placed it on the bump. She started to move it around. Until she noticed something. Something that is very rare.

"Guys when was your last appointment?' she asked getting her clipboard and waiting for answer.

"It was a month ago." Luke said

Dr. Janice looked at her clipboard and to the small screen. She tried matching the dates up.

Something is wrong.

"Guys I have good and bad news." she started off.

Luke and Ashton exchanged looks. They were freaking out.

"Good news first." Ashton spoke up

"Okay so the babies are developing well. Bad news is that you are 8 months and 2 week pregnant, not 7." She said

Luke was shocked. Ashton was shocked. Dr. Janice was shocked. The whole world was shocked.

"W-w-what?" asked Luke

"Your going into labor in about 2 to 3 weeks."

She said.

"How is that possible?" Ashton asked

"Well the babies were developing well, but on the first check up you didn't have me right?"

Luke and Ashton nodded.

"Well they told me that you were only a couple of weeks. Thing is that there was another patient that was told she was pregnant. And I think they messed your papers up...." she explained.

"Oh." was all that came out of both Luke and Ashton.

"So we'll see you and the babies in a couple of days." She said.

She printed out the ultrasound picture and gave them to Luke and Ashton.

I had this planned out. And I just couldn't wait to write this chapter. I probably shocked everyone who is reading this book. 😂< fav emoji don't ask why.
