The finally arrived at the police station after a long, long time. There were camera crews everywhere and a huge crowd of people. Police though made a barricade and were holding people.
Police opened the doors of the ambulance. Mike got out first then Zach. Liz slowly walked over. Mike grabbed her and carried. The were escorted by the police around the ambulance. People where everywhere talking and yelling.
As the rounded the corner. They saw there family.
Liz got a big smile on her. They ran up to each other. Mike passed Liz on to her dad. The reuniting began. They all hugged each other and cried and cried. Mike hugged his mother and father and siblings. Zach did the same. They all then just took turns hugging each other this went on for a long while. They were eventually moved along by the police into the station.
Mike went up to Liz and they hugged and soon Zach joined in. It was a group hug.
"It was a long walk home, but we are home now" said Liz smiling.
Mike smiled back and kissed her fored. Zach hugged her. They then took each one of her hands and they walked into the police station, hand and hand.
Mike looked down at Liz
"Happy Birthday Kiddo."
"Ya Happy Birthday Lizzie" said Zach.
Liz smiled back at them
