Wish you'd let me stay I'm ready now
This is going to have a lot of different POV's so it's gonna be a little messy, I'm sorry, but it's kinda a recap of what happened in the spring break.
Rosalyn was playing with an old white fedora while looking outside the window. It was the last day of the spring break, and she was waiting for her mother to come back from work to go to the airport. Dominic had told her that he could take her to the airport, but she politely declined it, and he knew better than to keep pressing her.
Ever since her grandfather died, she barely spoke, and had bigger problems with the borderline disorder. So now, she was taking meds, as her mother realized that the "No pills, just people helping" wasn't doing any good.
A few knocks in her door took her out of her daydream, and a few seconds later, her mother went inside.-I'm home sweetheart, did you take the meds? -the woman spoke, with a sweet, calming voice.
Rosalyn looked at her, taking her feet out of the desk, and then took a little medicine bottle and shook it a little.
-Alright, do you have everything? Medicine, socks, your toothbrush? Do you have enough blankets there? Can you take other bedsheets? Do you have any bedsheets there?
Rosalyn laughed at her mother's paranoid antics, making her stop.
-Mom, you are even more paranoid than the last time, yes, I am fine, I have everything, I'm gonna be okay, I have uncle Ric, I have Josie, I have my friends, I have Carter...
-I have to go someday to meet that boy, he seems a nice guy, and you seem to be happy with him.
In the past few weeks, she had been talking with Carter through video call and more than once her mother had been there, also speaking with him, embarrassing Rosalyn a little bit too much. And the green-eyed girl didn't want to get her mother really attached to the guy, just in case that she left him, or vice versa.
-Yeah, I don't know, everything it's a little... New for us, you should wait a little more.
-Okay then. When I can at least meet your friends? Or at least know what you did in the Salvatore School other than getting a boyfriend and a new basketball team?
Rosalyn wanted to speak with her mother about what she did in Mystic Falls, but there was one problem. How could she explain to her the complicated relationship with Penelope Park?
Her mother seemed to sense it, so she sat on her daughter's bed.-Rough past months?
-Did you ever felt like you fell in love with the right person at the wrong time? Maybe not even at the wrong time, but in the wrong life.
