The idea of a night date didn't feel good to Penelope, either to Jasmine and Hope. That's why the ginger girl talked with Landon, who didn't trust Carter, to go to take a look at the date. Then they realized, Carter was out of his room, and they were friends with Rafael, the werewolf alpha, who could help them. That night, they were going to get really into the investigation.
-Alright, so, you need me to get the wolves as far as I can from their rooms so you can sneak into Carter's room... Because you think that he's trying to hurt Rosalyn? -Rafael asked, half surprised, half in disbelief-
-Yeah, that's pretty much it. -Jasmine confirmed-
-Alright, I don't know that girl too much, but Landon seems pretty latched to her, so yeah, I'll do it.
-Thanks, you're the best. Now go get your minions out of there, so we can do the search -the ginger-haired girl answered-
The girls waited on the stairs a few minutes, then they Carter's roommate go out of the room, and not too long after, the whole pack was out of their rooms. Then, the girls got inside the room, searching for something that could show them what kind of villain Carter was. But the main problem was that they didn't know what was supposed to belong to the werewolf.
-Well, I think we didn't think this well -Hope said, while searching through a nightstand-
-We didn't, but who thought that they would have so many things -Jasmine answered, going through the things in the closet.
-Alright I get it, you think I'm an amateur, now shut up and keep searching for something else -Penelope exasperated, trying to find something on the floor.
The girls noticed that, and then stopped searching.
-What are you doing, Park? -Hope questioned.
-You remember the wolf that in the last semester? The one complaining about the guys from upstairs that were making something on the room and were being nosey? -She answered, knocking on a wood plank.
-Yeah, what about it?
-The room was the one below this one. And when Alaric got here, there was absolutely nothing out of normal. By then, I was already investigating Carter. Maybe those things are connected, and that guy is hiding something here.
-Alright Sherlock, then why do you need us here? -Jasmine questioned.
-Because maybe I'm wrong, and he hid it somewhere else. Now keep looking.
Then, when she knocked on another wood plank, and that one made a different sound. The girls looked more attentively, trying to see what was there, but Penelope couldn't get
-Hope, I need your help, it's stuck.
The trybrid quickly helped her, yanking the wood. In the small hole of the floor, there was a small book, and the hazel-eyed girl quickly got it out.
