Chapter 10: SOMETHING NEW!!!

-=No one's POV=-
(Oooo! Something different!!)

Ink looked around as he walked down the sidewalk. It appeared to be early-morning, and it was quite peaceful. Ink sighed, enjoying the peace and quiet when he passed someone. For some reason, Ink stopped and watched the person as they walked down the sidewalk to get to the cross-walk. Ink's colorful eye-lights slowly followed the figure as they crossed the road. They had kept their head down with the hood of their hoodie up the whole time, and Ink had a bad feeling about it. Suddenly, a car came careening down the road, headed straight for the mysterious-passerby.

"LOOK OUT!!" Ink screamed as he ran and slammed himself into the stranger, pushing him out of the way.

Ink's body fell to the ground and he looked up at the fast approaching car, terrified. He couldn't move, all he could do was raise him arms in front of his face in a feeble attempt to shield himself. Ink closed his eyes, waiting for impact, but it ever came. Everything around him became quiet and still, and when Ink opened his eyes, everything was blurry, and he felt overwhelming tiredness.

-=Ink's POV=-

I rubbed my eyes tiredly. It was just a dream, nothing more, I'm fine-

Wait--

All tiredness left my body as I realized, I had a dream! A dream other than darkness or being on that bridge! After I had saved the person in the bridge-dream, I had no other dreams, just nothingness. But this time I had a dream that was different! Finally! Change!

Another wave of excitement washed over me as I remembered something else. Today's the day I get to go outside again! Soon, i'll be free of all theses machines and out in the big, beautiful world!! I'll finally get a break from this plain, white room! YES!!! More change!!!

I shifted around on my bed, unable to stay still and contain my excitement. C'mon Ink, you just gotta wait for a few more minutes for your friends and then-

Knock Knock Knock

"COME IN!!!!" I yelled, now shaking with anticipation.

"You seem excited." Dream laughed as he, Blue, and Error entered my little hospital room.

"You would be too if you were stuck staring at this void of whiteness for 2 weeks!" I countered.

"I tHoUgHt VoIdS wErE bLaCk?" Error questioned, chuckling some.

"Anti-void, Void, whatever, I just wanna go outsiiiiiiiiide!" I whined.

"Ink, you need to wait for the doctor! But don't worry! I, the MAGNIFICENT Blue, will entertain you until then!" Blue exclaimed cheerfully.

"Fiiiiiiine" I groaned.

~Le Tem Skip~

-=Still Ink's POV=-

I made run for the door as soon as the doctor took the last machine-thingy off of me.

"Ink! Wait!!" Dream called, "You need to wait for us!! And don't forget you have a time limit!"

I sighed and tapped my foot impatiently as I waited outside of the door. As soon as Blue took a step out of the room, however, I started zipping around the hallway that the room was connected to.

"INK! WAIT FOR ME!!" Blue giggled zipping after me.

I laughed and sprinted through a door labeled 'Hospital Garden'. I gasped and came to a screeching stop when I saw what was on the other side. The garden was a fairly decent sized fenced in area, and was quite lush. I was filled with various flowering plants and a few small trees. There was even a small, artificial stream running through the area. The prettiest thing about it, though, was the sunlight. The real, golden sunlight shining down on the entirety of the garden.

"It's so pretty!!!" I squealed, star fishing out of the grass.

"The magnificent Blueberry agrees with you, Ink!!" Blue replied, laying down on the grass next to me.

"You must be trying to soak this all in, huh?" Dream laughed as he sat down on the grass on the opposite side of Blue.

"Yep!" I exclaimed, sitting back up, "Hey! Why don't we make flower crowns?!"

Pretty soon, the three of us were laughing and talking while fussing over our half-finished flower crowns.

"UGH!i!" Error screeched, kinda ruining the happy atmosphere.

"What?" I said, looking over at him.

He was sitting under a tree a little ways away from the the little circle me and my friends had formed. He looked like he was trying to braid some random strings together, bit instead managed to get them tangled around his fingers.

"HeY, iS tHiS wHaT cAt'S cRaDlE iS?" Error asked, holding up his hands.

"Error, you've got to be kitten me! Surely you can do better!" I choked out, holding back laughter.

Error lowered his hands and looked at me, disappointed, "InNnNnK."

"Oh c'mon Error, don't make a meowtain out of a mole-hill!"

"InK, wHy?"

"I would apawlogize, but im not feline up to it."

I couldn't take it anymore, I doubled over in laughter. Dream and Blue quickly followed. Error just sighed bitterly and leaned back against the tree he was sitting under.

"I rEgReT eVeRyThInG...."

Yeah, so, I just wanted to write and easy, happy, filler chapter. Sorry if it wasn't very eventful, but im running out of ideas.
