Chapter 14: The Sleepover (Part 1)

-=No One's POV=-

  Friday had swiftly arrived, and the skeletons known as Blue and Ink had excitedly extended invitations to everyone they knew. Despite Dream's protests, he had begun to enjoy the idea of hanging out with friends without much worry, and had started agreeing that they really did need this.

-=Ink's POV=-

  "Okay! So we have popcorn, cookies, chips, and soda. Are we missing anything?" I asked Blue, adding the finishing touches to our dining table, which we had converted into a 'snack table'.

  "Nope! I think we're good! Aaaah! I'm so excited!!" Blue exclaimed, bouncing up and down.

  "People should be getting here soon.." Dream said, glancing up at the clock.

  Just at that moment, there was a knock on the door.

  "Good timing!" I giggled, "I'll get it."

  I quickly made my way to the front door and opened it.

  "Oh! Hi Error! Hi Fell!" I greeted, "You guys are a little early, but other people should be here soon!!"

  Error nodded, stepping through the doorway.

  "FELL!!!!" I heard Blue shout before tackle-hugging the edgy skeleton.

  I giggled before following Error to the living room.

  "Okay, so, you can do whatever until more people come, then we can play some games!" I clapped my hands together excitedly.

  Error nodded and just as I was about to go help Dream in the kitchen, there was another knock on the door.

  "Oh! Hi D-" I heard Blue stop mid-sentence. Odd.

  "Who is its Bluuu..." I drew out the 'u' before stopping when I saw who was at the door.

  "NIGHTMARE?!" I screeched, "BLUE!! DID YOU INVITE NIGHTMARE?!"

  Blue rapidly shook his head, "No! I didn't! I swear!!!! I just invited Dust and Lust!!!"

  I face palmed, yes, Lust was a close friend before he moved schools, and yes, Blue was close to Dust, but Blue should've known what would happen if he invited them. " Bluuuuue," I groaned, "if you invite even just one member you know they're all going to cooooome."

  "Sorry..." Blue mumbled, shifting nervously.

  "Just- come inside, don't break things, and we should be fine." I sighed, moving aside so the goopy monster and his 'friends' could come inside.

  This was going to be a loooong night.

~15 minutes later~

  "Don't you DARE come close to us." Cross growled at Nightmare.

  Everyone had situated themselves in the living room. Nightmare on the bean bag chair in the corner with Horror on the ground next to him, while everyone else was on the sofa or on the rug in front of the sofa.

  "Not planning to." Nightmare growled back.

  "Uh- why don't we play some games?" I asked, hoping to lift some of the tension in the room.

  "Oooo! How about truth or dare?~" Lust purred from where he was sprawled out on the rug, "I'll only play if you let Horror come over here and play too, though."
