Chapter 6: A Day with the Fish

[Chaery POV]

I woke up today by the alarm that is coming from my phone, after I shut it down, I was about to get and glanced on the time, it was already 9am. Still feeling sleepy, I went to the bathroom, took a quick shower and went outside.

I was walking down the small hallway when I saw Donghae came out from his room. Unconciously, I felt that my face turned red. He looks at me and smiled and said.

“Oh! Good morning Chaery-ssi!”

“Good morning donghae-ssi!” I greeted back as I continued walking until I reached the kitchen. I was about to prepare a breakfast when I noticed a small note on the ref.

“Good morning Chaery-ssi! ^^. The boys went to their individual schedule today. See you later. – Leeteuk”

I pull out the note and put it on the table and then I opened the ref.

“Well, it looks like we have to do some grocery shopping.” I was shocked to hear a voice coming from behind me only to find out that it was Donghae.

“Don’t scare me like that donghae-ssi.” I said as I closed the door.

“Mianhe.” He chuckled.

“So let’s do some grocery shopping?” he added.

I nodded and I went back to my room to change my clothes. After I was done, I went outside and there I saw him leaning to a black Ferrari. My eyes went wide and slowly I approached him.

“Is that yours?” I asked.

“Yup, I’m sorry this is all I got.” He humbly said. SERIOUSLY??? ALL HIS GOT???

“oh! You don’t have to be sorry. I was just shocked because I never imagined I could see in real life a car like this.” I said.

“Oh I see, well, I guess you just have to wait for Siwon and Leeteuk hyung.” He said as he opened the door to the passenger’s seat.

“what do you mean?” I curiously asked as I sat on the passengers’ seat and he went on the driver’s seat.

“you will know.” He smilingly said as he sit on the driver seat and he drove off to our destination.

A few minutes had passed and I didn’t realize that I slept the whole ride and I was awakened when I felt that the car suddenly stopped. I opened my eyes and I glanced to my side only to see him smiling back to me.

“Were here!” he said as he closed the door of the car after I alighted.

My eyes went wide as I saw that I am infront of an amusement park. Ever since I got here in Korea, this amusement park is included to my bucket list. I was just surprised that it happened so soon.

After he paid for our tickets, I immediately dragged him to the different rides, starting from the flying swing, the carousel and the most thrilling ride of all, the super roller coaster. At first I saw that he is afraid to ride in it as he tried to hide it,but eventually he gave in.

We almost lost track on the time and it was almost past 3pm and we even eat our lunch yet. My tummy is already complaning as he laughs and we went to the nearest reataurant.

Since it was an Italian restaurant, I wasn’t surprised on what is inside on the menu, but what surprise me is that each course is really expensive.

He was starring on the menu when I said.

“Uhmm.. oppa, are you sure you really want to eat here? “ I said as I put down the menu board and look at him straightly.

“You don’t like it here?” he said as he was about to get up from his seat but I stopped him and I said.”

“Ani! It’s just…uhmmm…. The foods here… are… reallly… expensive.” I was stuttering as I looked down below, feeling super embarassed.

He put both of his hands in my face and he lift it up and he said.

“Don’t worry, I’ll pay. Besides, I won’t just let you eat anywhere.. so don’t be shy arasso?” then suddenly I could feel that my blood runs up to my face as I blushed.

Since I was still shy, I just let him decide on what should we eat and he just agreed. After a few minutes, our orders had arrived and my eyes were twinking to saw a pepperoni pizza and baked macaroni with lots of cheese! My favorite! But..

“How did you know that it’s my favorite?” I asked as he looked at me and he said.

“Really? It’s also my favorite! I just want you to taste one of my favorites here and I never knew that it was also your favorite.” He smiled as I smiled back. Seriously, I could beat the mealted cheese in my baked macaroni from melting by simply looking at him smiling.

[Donghae POV]

I was surprised to know that we have the same favorite italian food. Destiny right? But there is something in me that I just knew it even before. Weird eh?

As I ate my food, I noticed that she has a different style in eating her own food. When she ate her pizza, she starts eating the back portion first rather than the front and she ate it using her hands. She was very simple; some other girls will be fine enough to eat this kind of foods and would use knife and fork, but her? She just do what she feel, one of the things that makes my heart beats more for her.

After we ate and I paid for our food, I noticed that it was almost sunset, which some idea pop up in mind.

I hold her hand, it was soft, I was like holding a bag full of cotton balls, when she said.

“Where are we going oppa?”

I did not answer her, but instead we continue to walk hand in hand. I admit I was really nervous about this kind of skinship, but I can’t help it. Something inside me tells me that I shouldn’t nervous.

As we reached our destination, I cover her eyes using my own hands as I let her stand at the edge.

[Chaery POV]

Donghae put his hands to cover my eyes. Although I didn’t know where I am, I just trust him this time. As soon as he removed his hands, I was mesmerized on how beautiful the scenery is. We are at the top of the hill and I clearly saw the beautiful sunset.

We sat on the green grass as we remained silent and just enjoy the view, then I felt something weird. My head start to ache as I saw several scenes in my mind that tells me it already happened before. I was in pain when donghae look at me with worried eyes and said.

“Gwenchana chaery-ssi?”

\slowly I opened my eyes and look at him, his face. It was really familiar to me. Then slowly, my head ache faded and I asked him.

“If you don’t mind me asking oppa, why did you brought me here?”

“actually, I didn’t know it also, you may find it weird, but something in heart tells me to bring you here. And as we are sitting here, I just felt that this scene is already before.” He said.

We have the same perspective, but how?

“uhmm.. oppa, have we meet before? I know it is also weird since we both know that we just met a few days before, but something inside me also tells me that we are.” I said as I was still admiring the beautiful sunset there.

After we watch the sunset, we decided to go back to the dorms. As we reached it, I opened the door I saw Sungmin, Ryeowook, Eunhyuk. I smiled at them as Donghae went to his room and I do the same, but before I went it, I noticed that there is a pair of eyes looking at me. I looked back, and I saw Ryeowook starring at me. His eyes were very lonely compared to Donghae, like it was longing for something. As I enter my room, I can’t erase from my mind what happened to Donghae and I at the top of the hill and how Ryeowook starred at me. With all of these thoughts, my head starts to ache again, and that is when I decided to rest my mind for all of this thinking.
