Chapter 12: Two sided Love

[Chaery POV]

I was surprised when Henry chose me to as her female lead role in his MV. Although I am performing arts major, I still have some stage frights, most especially in acting. I’m not saying I’m not good at it, it just I’m afraid to disappoint him.

But I guess I can’t resist this cute guy here so I just gave in his request. After I changed into a white dress that is appropriate for the music video, I went outside.

After the director told us the whole plot of the music video, we started filming the first part. I find it exciting since it was just like me and Henry playing hide and seek, except for the fact that we need to act of course.

It took us so many takes before we could perfect the first part because most of the time, henry and I would laugh to ourselves like little kids playing in the playground.

Soon after, I sit on one corner of the studio since it was now Henry’s dance parts. I was amazed on how great dancer he is, but why is it that my eyes are deceiving me right now as I could see donghae dancing instead of henry? I wash it off my mind as I continued composing the song that I am doing awhile ago.

After henry finished filming his dance part, the director called both of us as we are going to film next were both of us is involve. Henry and I were so close to each other and we are standing that our face were almost centimeters apart. As the music played on the background, he put his hand on my shoulders as I slowly closed my eyes. I can’t help but to wonder, but everytime I would close my eyes, donghae’s face keep flashing in my mind like some kind of a past memory. Could it be?

Few hours had passed and at last we finished filming the whole MV. The director praised us as he didn’t expect to finish everything in just one day. I was about to enter the dressing room to change to my normal clothes when I noticed a familiar face,

“Donghae?”

I asked myself, but that could be. I mean how will be here? Maybe my eyes is decieving me again, but why is it that everytime his name would pop up my heart beats more.

After I dressed up to my casual clothes again, henry approached me.

“So do you want to eat dinner with me?” he asked.

“sure!” I said as he smiled back and his puffy cheeks showed up again. This guy’s smile is indeed a melter. I wonder how his fans where still alive after he smiled to them.

I was surprise where henry dragged me to.

“Street foods eh? At dinner?” I asked.

“Yup! you didn’t like it?” he asked as he showed a sad face to me.

“Ani! I was just surprised that you ate at this kind of foods. You know, I mean, you’re a celebrity.” I said.

“As I said to you before, I’m not the type of idol who will indulge themselves on classy foods since they are idols. I prefer the foods that I’m most comfortable with, and this is one of my list.” He said as he handed me a fish stick.

We are having fun eating street foods as he teased me on the way how I eat it since I’m not used to eat this kind of things here in Korea. But don’t get me wrong! I ate street foods back in the Philippines. Then it crossed my mind about Ryeowook. It’s been almost a week since I last saw him.

“Henry?”

“UHM?” he said as he stopped chewing his fish stick.

“did you happened to meet ryeowook oppa in Japan?”

“ne! waeyo?”

“uhmm. Nothing,” I said as I looked down and finished eating my food.

After we paid the ahjumma the food that we ate, I told henry that I’m tired already so we went straight back to the dorms. Since no one is in the living room, maybe they are still in their schedules so I went to my room and I throw myself on my bed.

I was about to close eyes, when I felt that my phone is vibrating, since I feel that my whole body was really heavy, I didn’t mind looking who is it as I gave in and went to dreamland.

[Ryeowook POV]

I didn’t tell the other members that today I will return back to Korea. I want to surprise them, although I message Chaery that I will come back today and expecting her to pick me up at the airport.

As soon as our place arrived and I finished everything in the imigration, I came to search for her presence. After a few mintes of searching, I gave up so decided to call her. I was even sadder to realized that she is not answering her phone. I look at my watch and it was already 10pm. I wonder if she’s asleep already? Or did she even read my message?

After the van dropped me off, I make my way to the dorms, as I slide on my card key, I noticed that the whole living room is quiet, maybe they are already asleep? So I went to my room first to put down my luggages and I decided to go to Chaery’s room. I was infront of her room when I noticed that it was slightly opened, I was about to went in, when I noticed a figure beside chaery’s bed. I narrowed my vision only to saw Donghae kissed her in her forehead. At that very moment, I felt that there is a big knife that struck my heart. I love her so much, so much that if only I could keep her with me forever, but I know it was impossible.

I slowly closed the door, and went back to my room. As I closed the door, I throw myself in my bed and I hugged the nearest pillow beside me. Then suddenly, my tears started to race down my face.

“So this is the real pain of loving someone eh?” I said to myself as I continued sliently crying until I could feel that my eyes started to become weak and heavy and eventually, I went off.

[Donghae POV]

Since the other members still have a schedule this evening, I decided to go back to dorms. I want to rest not only my body as well as my heart. As I was on my way back, the words that Min hyuk told me keep on repeating in my mind.

“You’re inlove”

Am I really inlove? This is new feelings keep on confusing me. If in case that I am really inlove to chaery, I should immediately kill my feelings for her since her already belong to one of my favorite dongsaeng, ryeowook. But something inside me tells me that I’m not in love, it more about that I already have this feeling long before.

I was deep thought that I didn’t realize that I was already infront of our dorms. I swipe my card key and I entered, then I noticed that there is already two pairs of sneakers in the shoe rack. I wonder who is at home already.

I decided to go to my room first when I came cross to Chaery’s room and the door was slightly open. I was about to close it thinking that she just forgot to close it, when I saw her lying in her bed. As if my body moves on its own, I just founf myself beside her bed. I looked at her, she was indeed beautiful, her face is really angelic and ryewook is really to have her, then unconciously, my hand move and landed on her rosy cheeks, it was so warm. Then those weird feelings started to showed up again.

“Saranghae Chaery.” I said as I moved in closer and my lips landed on her forehead.

This time, I’m very sure.

I do really love her.
