Chapter 20!

RECAP: "Umm.. what seems to be going on here"

        Me and Cody quickly seperate and i say "Uhhh mom! hi, i didn't expect you to be home so early..."

"yeah, well my work left me off early..." she replies.

"oh.. well, umm mom, this is Cody.. my boyfriend." i say pointing to Cody.

"it's a pleasure to meet you ma'am. Cody says and shakes my moms hand. Such a gentleman.

"It's nice to meet you to Cody."

"Hey, umm Cody.. Kenzie should be here soon so you should probably go.. i'll walk you out."

"yeah, ok!" he says back.

My mom walks into the kitchen to set all her stuff down and me and Cody head to the door. I open the door and we walk outside and i shut the door so we can talk with out my mom hearing.

"that was akward..." i say.

"haha  a little, but it's ok. Hey, i'll see you tomorrow. Have fun with Kenzie tonight!" he says.

"I will." i say and he gives me a small kiss. "Oh, Cody. wait. I forgot i'm riding to the airport with kenzie's family. Can you give me a ride home ot to your house or whatever?" i ask him.

"yeah, i'll see if my mom or dad could take me to pick you up." he replies.

"ok thanks, Love you!" i say to him and give him a hug,

"I love you too, babe" he says and then head down my driveway and to his house.

      I walk back into my house and shut the door. I awkwardly walk into the kitchen where my mom is looking through the mail. 

"He is a cute boy, Vannah" she says.

"yeah.. i know" 

"how long have you two been... a thing?" 

"umm like 2 days.."

"oh, well he seems like a really sweet boy"

"he really is mom"

"is he a good kisser" she says and winks at me.

"MOM!" i say and give her a jokingly shove.

"what?!" she says with a huge smile on her face. It was good to see her smile. I haven't seen it that often since my dad was in the accident.

     Next thing you know there was a ring at the door. Kenzie is here. I open the door and tell her to come in.

"Hey, kenzie! let's go up to my room" i say before my mom can try to talk to us.

"MAKE SURE YOU TELL HER HOW GOOD OF A KISSER THAT BOY IS!" my mom yells up the stairs.

"MOM! STOP IT!" i yell down the stairs with a smile on my face. i hear her laugh that makes me smile even more.

"wait.. who's a good kisser?" Kenzie ask.

"Yeah, Kenz, there is a lot i have to tell you." So, i fill her in on everthing about cody.

"OMG i am so jealous but i'm happy for you!" she says.

"thanks!" i say.

"So, is he really a good kisser?" she ask.

"haha yeah.." i reply.

We did each others nails, talked about people from our school, and eventually we had to talk about what we were gonna do with out each other, By the end of the night we were both crying and decided to make some cute little best friend videos. We just did really random stuff but at least i can watch them and still feel like she is still here in LA. Then we took tons of pictures. We finally decided it was time to go to sleep. 

"Night, savannah"

"Goodnight, Kenzie." i say.

"Savannah, promise you wont forget about me. Promise you wont replace me." she says.

"That't even posible, nobody could replace you. You will ALWAYS be my best friend.
