I hate you.. I think.

Chapter 21!

   It was 4AM and i could sleep knowing in less than 12 hours my best friend would be on a plane to Florida. I can't like with out her. She has been my best friend since, well forever. I sat up for at least another hour thinking about it then i finally fell asleep. 

   I woke up around 11AM and grabbed my phone and had 2 text messages. One from Cody and one from Alli.

Cody: Hey, Babe! Hope you slept well. I'm going to the studio but me and my dad will be at the airport at 3 to pick you up! love you <3"

Alli: Ayye, gurrll! Just wanted to let you know that i know it is hard to be so far away from your friends but that won't change anything. you guys will still be close! Call or text me if you need to talk! Cody sais that he is picking you up from the airport so i guess i will see you later!" 

   I love them so much. Mackenzie finally woke up and said "what time is it?"

"11" i reply. 

"oh wow! i never sleep this late!" she says.

i laugh "Me neither"

We get dressed (SAVANNAHS OUTIFT IS IN THE COMMENTS) and Mackenzie did my hair.

"Vannah, my mom is picking us up at 1.." 

"Kenzie... i'm going to miss you so much."

"I'm going to miss you too.."

We got some lunch and before i knew it Kenzie's mom was knocking at my door. I open it and invite her in.

"Hello, savannah! You look cute today" her mom says

"haha Thanks!" i say back to her.

"Lets get in the car, Ladies! you have a ride home correct, savannah?" She ask me.

"Oh, yeah!" i say

"Okay good!" 

    We get in the car and the radio was on and it was the craziest thing. "Wish U Were Here" was on. Me and kenzie jammed out and i took a video of us singing and dancing. I Sent the video to cody and said..

"Hey, babe! Aren't we cute?" 

After like 10 minutes he replies with " haha you guys are adorable. Tell kenzie i say hey!" 

"Aye, kenz. Cody says hey."

"Oh haha tell him i say hi!" she says. She was freaking out inside you could tell. 

   Unfortualy we got to the airport quicker than i hoped. it was 2 o'clock. Kenzie and her family all checked in and texted cody back and said "haha she says hi! gtg at the airport! see you at 3. mwah <3"

   Kenzie walked over to me and says "We have to head toward the gates so we can board the plane.."

"oh.." i say "okay." my voice began to crack. it always does this when i'm about to cry.

We got to the gate that Mackenzie and her family were supposed to be boarding at. They walked to a bench and sat down to give me and kenzie a little bit of time to say goodbye. 

"Kenz, i do't even know what to say. I love you. you are my best friend and nobody can ever replace you. I wish you didn't have to move, but i know that the distance will just make us closer. Factime like every night, k?" i say to her.

"Deal." 

She gives me a huge hug and then says the word that i did not want to hear "goodbye"

"bye, kenzie."

  I just stood there and watched my fbest friend get on a plane to move all the way across the country. i didn't want her to see me crying cause i knew that would make her cry. As soon as she was out of my sight i just broke down on the ground crying. She is my best friend. why does this have to happen to me? Then i felt familar arms around me. It was Cody. He sat down on the ground and held me. I looked up at him.

" i'm sorry, i kinda got your shirt wet." i say.

"No worries!" he says and kisses my forhead <3
