It was the night of neil's movie marathon. Me and a couple other of his friends, dan, Nancy and Owen were also coming.

"I'm so excited to show you nightmare before christmas" is said to syd as we packed our stuff. I was also talking to neil on the phone.

"What was that?" Asked neil

"Nothing, just talking to syd" I told him.

"Ok, anyways, I told my other friends about syd I hope that's okay" neil said.

"Oh that's completely fine just make sure they don't tell anyone"

"Ok"

My dad drove me to neil's house and syd and i walked into the front door. It was a huge place.

"Welcome!" Said neil. "I've got food"

"Hell yah! Food!" Syd said excitedly and started rummaging through neil's fridge. Neil laughed.

"Syd don't be impolite" I told him

"No no he's fine" said neil. "The tvs in my room if you guys wanna come and watch the movies"

We came in and sat down on the floor. "I have blankets" said neil and everyone grabbed one and soon there was only on the left and syd and I both didn't have one.

Syd blushed. "It'll looks like we'll have to share one" he said.

"Yah" I said and wrapped the blanket around us. He leaned his head on me and I kissed his cheek which caused him to give me the cutest smile I'd be ever seen. It started getting colder so I scooted closer to him and we put our arms around each other. Neil started the movie.

I'd seen nightmare before christmas a million times before so it wouldn't netter if I fell asleep. Syd's head stayed on my shoulder for the whole movie and I used his soft hair as a pillow and drifted off to sleep halfway through.

It was near the end when syd woke me up.

"(Yn) look at jack and sally" he said, pointing to the screen. They were gazing into each others eyes and singing. "They're just like you and me" he said.

I yawned. "Yah" I said. It was so cute I couldn't get mad at him for waking me up.
