Naruto's Pov
"Huh," was all that came out. It was the only word I could actually registered.
"W-well what I meant was......do you want to come in for a minute?" I watched her face turn to different shades of red. I scratched my head. "Your parents won't mind?"

"They're not here this week." I replied with a quiet oh. We stood there for a minute. "Well?" She half way chuckled. "Oh yeah sure."

I walked through the front door and if I thought the outside was something amazing the inside was fucking magnificent. I'm not very artsy or whatever but the interior design was looking badass. Very badass. "Thirsty," her question brought me back to reality. "Uhh no."

Even though I said no I still followed her to the kitchen. Quite frankly I didn't want to get lost or break anything. The pictures on the walls did catch my attention. "Say Naruto, I hope you don't mind me asking but, are you really a demon, like an actually demon?"

I turned to look at her just to give her my dumbfounded look. My right hand clasped the back of my neck, something I do when I don't know what to say. "Yes I'm an actual demon. We both know this, hell the whole school knows this." She rolled her eyes. "But, like, have you ever transformed or what ever it is you do?"

The question brought a startling memory to the front of my head.

~Flashback two years ago~
"Naruto he's catching up to us!" Sasuke yelled from behind me. "I thought you were the only demon in town and why is he trying to kill us?" His bombardment of questions made me lose focus.

"Sasuke shut the fuck up and get in front of me." Needless to say that he did exactly that. "Make a left," I yelled. That was the most regrettable decision I made and will most likely be my most regrettable decision in my whole life.

The person, demon, chasing us was in the trees and lunges out to claw me. In a quick decision Sasuke pushed me and got struck instead. The moment he hit the ground I lost it. I lost complete and utter control. It was like I blacked out. When I was aware of myself again I instantly felt moisture on my hands.

Instead of looking at it I rushed over to Sasuke who was barely breathing. "Sasuke! Sasuke! We have to get you to a hospital fast." I had attempted to get him on my back but he wouldn't cooperate. "Bro what the hell are you doing, let's go!" I looked down at his face and fought back the waves of tears building in my eyes.

"We're not gonna make it," he chuckled out.
"Why are you laughing this is not funny!" He grabbed my hand. "When I first met you I thought you were an ice cold person..... so to see you crying like this is pretty funny." His breaths become ragged but he smiled and continues on.

"I'm glad I met you....... awww man she's going to be mad. I love you both so much. Thanks Naruto."
"'She? You have a female in your life? Sasuke don't close your eyes! SASUKE!" I stopped yelling and started shaking him. It had to be at that moment that the authorities came to see what all the noise was all about.

In the end they blamed me for Sasuke's death and I didn't deny it. It was actually my fault. The thing that pissed me off was that I didn't know where our attacker went.
~End of Flashback~

That day I promised myself two things. I would find the demon who took Sasuke away from me. And second I would never get close to anyone ever again. Thinking back in it now I've come to realize that I might've been in love with Sasuke.

"Narutooo," Sakura was waving her hand in front of my face," you shut down for a minute there, did I ask something I wasn't suppose to?" I grabbed her hand, making myself surprised for my actions, and put our foreheads together.
"I'm so sorry."

Sakura's Pov
There's no denying that I was surprised. I felt a tear slip down his face onto mine. I guess I triggered something.I'll be careful next time but, why is he saying sorry to me?

"I-It's okay!" I pulled back and playfully slapped his shoulder. "Plus you didn't do anything to me so no harm." I chuckled. He quickly wiped his tears.
"You're right. I don't know what happened." The fact that he cried in front of me,even for a short time, must mean we're growing closer, right?

"I should get going." Understandable.
"Y-yeah. See you tomorrow." I walked him to the front door. Before he was out of my sight he whispered something. I hardly doubt that he wanted me to hear but the way he said it made my heart break.

"I've failed again." I don't know the significance or story behind those words but I could feel the pain through them.

~Timeskip because your wonderful author forgot what day it is in this story so one week 2 weeks later on Monday~

"I'm guessing you still haven't talked to him." I raised my head off my desk.
"How did you know?"
"Just look at you." I was just wearing an oversized hoodie and joggers. Something I don't wear outside the comfort of my home.
I chuckled, with no laughter," I guess you're right."

She nailed it spot on. It's been two or more weeks since I've seen Naruto. Two or more weeks since he cried in front of me. Two or more weeks since I invited him in my home. Two or more weeks since we got closer, or so I thought."

"I thought we were making progress, Ino. I invited him in my home. I've even seen him cry. He's started to open up a little. We were going somewhere, is what I thought." She sat beside me and gave me a hug.

"I'm not going to scold you for letting a boy in your home," I admit it, I smiled at that," but I am going to tell you that I think you have a deeper connection with him then you realize." She's blabbering nonsense again. I'll pretend like I know what she's talking about.

"I just want to prove everyone wrong about him." She lifted my face and made me look in her eyes.
"You proved me wrong, so that's a start, right?"

The rest of the day was boring. The walk home was boring. Everything was boring. I went straight up to my room and closed my door, throwing myself on my messy bed. Before I knew it tears started rolling down my face. I really miss him.

What's up guysssss!!! It's been a while. I'll keep it nice and short, if any of you are still reading this let me know if I should continue or not. I honestly think it's way past time but then again I do like the story and kind of want to finish it. So it all comes down to what you guys want. Let me know below.
