"Mr. Stark, your meeting began twenty minutes ago." Pepper walks in to Tony's house.

She had arranged to meet Tony at Stark Industries, Rhodey having agreed to watch the twins for them. But she had been waiting at Stark Industries for far too long and had come back to find Rhodey waiting outside as per Tony's request.

Tony comes rushing around the corner before Pepper can get too far into the house.

"Yes, yes." He rushes, "I know, lets get going, we'll make it there in five."

Pepper quirks an eyebrow at his odd behaviour. He was acting out of character, actually seeming to care for once as he rushed out of the house, urging her to follow.

She silently wonders what the famous playboy had been up to and so she peers around the corner Tony had just come running from. She finds herself smiling.

The two twins are seated on the couch in the middle of the room. Next to them is larger, more advanced playpen then the one they previously had. It was red, lined with mesh and a couple of odd gadgets placed among it. Pepper knew that this could only be the work of one person.

Wether or not he would admit it, Pepper knew that the two babies were growing on him.

That's exactly what they would do for the next few years.

"Tony!"

It didn't take Stark long to casually walk up the stairs sarcastically saying "Yes honey?" with a devilish grin.

Pepper was fuming, her face was red with anger and any person could tell she was not happy with the billionaire.

"Tell me you did not teach the twins their first word." Pepper fumed.

Tony pouted, mock all over his face, "Mommy said lying was a sin."

Pepper let out a loud grunt of frustration. "Why?"

Tony laughed at her, "See, I didn't think you would care this much, but this reaction is so much better than what I was expecting."

Pepper spun around, anger still crawling over her face.

She enjoyed when Tony spent time with the twins, but when he spent his time doing this with them? She was not having it.

Tony turned to the twins.

They were sitting on a blanket with train tracks drawn over it. They were running their toy cars along the blanket and he caught their attention by calling their names.

They looked up at him with glistening green eyes.

"Show Mommy what I taught you." He smiles at them.

They mimick his smile, joy over their faces as they shout the first and only word they know. "Shit!"

Pepper lets out another groan as Tony looks from her to the kids with a smile of pride.

"Pepper what the hell!" Tony practically screams.

Pepper sends out the last cancellation letter. "You are not having another party!" She huffs.

"What difference does it make?" The two continue to argue as they stomp up the stairs.
