//WORLD'S FALLING APART\\

It was morning when the twins used Tony's invention to get ready for school.

The device produced a hologram of two people designed by Tony and the twins. Seeing these imagines allowed the young ones to shift and change to mirror the image.

Lydia's green skin crawled before being replaced with a pale white. Long, dark brown hair produced down to her lower black, flowing as she shook out her head. She closes her eyes as a black crop top crawls over her skin and light blue skinny jeans hug the curves of her hips and legs. When she opens her eyes her once dark green irises are now a bright piercing sage green.

Meanwhile, next to her, Lucas has replaced his own skin with a tan pigment and dark brown hair falls over his now brown eyes. He smiles as a blue button up shirt falls over his body and black jeans form over his legs as well.

Both their looks are completed by a pair of black shoes, Lucas' being sneakers while Lydia's are flats.

It was day two of Tony being gone on his business trip and the twins had been doing well, they had cleaned up their fathers garage once already and they had planned to do it again that night.

The door opens, the hinges creaking only slightly and the echo of shoes against tile hover around their ears. Happy rounds the corner, staring at the two in the living room.

He motions his hand over his shoulder, "Car's out front, ready to go to school whenever you two are."

Lydia picks the device up from the table, closing her hand into a fist which shuts it off, she walks over to the kitchen before throwing it back into a drawer.

"I think we're both ready to go." Lydia picks up an apple and throws it at Lucas, and then picks one up for herself.

Lucas catches the apple, looking at Happy with a smile and then biting into it, "Yep." He agrees.

The twins follow Happy to the door. They pick up their backpacks on the way while yelling to Pepper that they were leaving.

The car ride to Point Dume Elementary school only lasts about 3 minutes before the two are being dropped off around the corner. It was easier that the two acted like they walked to school. None of them could afford to have people question why Tony Stark's personal driver dropped off two young kids at an elementary school everyday.

However, their normal day of school soon took a full turn within the first hour when they were called home by a distraught Pepper.

Lydia was wisked back into her thoughts of the snow globe. Her stable ground, broke and shaken at the news of her missing father. What she thought was going to be a smooth journey turned into an earthquake of disaster. Her father had left with every intent of returning in a few days time, but now everything had fallen apart; been shaken up. They had been standing on stable ground and now someone had picked up their lives and given it a big shake. They were falling, maybe to their deaths, with no end in sight.

Wether they would land safely, find a new home and new safety in something new and different, they wouldn't know. Tony was missing and the ground seemed so far away.

It seemed as if the only way they would reach the ground is with Tony by their side. But he wasn't, not this time.

And so the twins were forced to begin their lives without Tony Stark.
