Mission 1: Glaz x caveira

Chapter 30: Caveira vs Nøkk

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Is all you heard coming from Timur's room. A groan escaped from the Russian male as caveira slowly sat up in bed rubbing her eyes. "Your not the one that has to go on a little training spree against someone who has somewhat the same ability as you" putting on her vest along with her belt as you heard clicks. Sticking her impact grenades into its pockets along with the extra mags.

She checked her phone and it was 30 minutes prior to leaving for the helicopter. Taína prefer to always be on time to anything. Grabbing her bags and kissing her annoyed husband goodbye before heading out. She stopped by her room and gave ace a kiss. Walking down the hall she heard Eliza chasing after the twins. Xiomara and Johnathan. It was quite adorable.

Stepping foot inside the elevator and going up to the rooftop she closed her eyes and whistles to herself. Ding! The doors open and sunlight shined into the room where she exited. Nøkk was still no where to be found yet, she leaned against the helicopter and waited as she heard the elevator ding. Turning away she stared out where the sun started to go down slowly. A conversation could be heard. Jäger and nøkk were having a conversation together.

"Morning taína! I see your early as usual!" He piped up with happiness as always. "Ready for our training?" Nøkk was fixing the drape over her head as taína just turned around and decided to sit in the front instead of the back like usual. The two exchanged looks and shrugged it off getting inside. Once they were all buckled up; jäger made his way to the destination. Upon arriving he landed in a near by construction site and waited until they were finished. No words were exchanged between the two. It was an easy task, no objective, Bomb or hostage. Just shoot each other with paint balls, there was a time limit to this.

Before they started they exchanged there real guns for paint balls. Caveira was first. She waited inside and watched cameras. She observed a door being broken in garage; it caught her attention. She watched closely but only for the plank of wood move on its own, and a fuzzy like form run across the screen. Was that nøkk? "So that's your ability." Quickly putting her phone up, she ran out the room quietly and started to roam near the kitchen area. Quietly she moved into the dining room behind the tilted table and laid there.

She spotted nøkk, she had the same position as caveira whenever she was in silent mode. This only made her more mad as if she felt like this other newbie was copying her ability but tried to tweak it to make it seem better. After a good while nøkk stood up straight and the Brazilian got up quickly and pulled the trigger as a green paint ball splattered twice in her back. The other operator seemed taken back by this and was shocked to see her there. "Oh god! You scared me! And you got me" a nervous laugh escaped her mouth. As usual, taína wasn't impressed.

She walked outside and waited 10 minutes as she resets the timer on the watch. "So she's silent. That's her ability too?" Nøkk was having a conversation with herself in the garage until she heard an explosion front the front of the house. Jumping from being frighten, she rushed upstairs into the kitchen without watching her surroundings, which was a terrible idea. The Brazilian operator was sitting in kids bedroom holding an angle on the stairs. As she suspected; her competitor came running up; pulling the trigger quickly but missed. Reaching her pocket, she threw her impact to her left which opened a hole to the stairs that lead into the kitchen.

Quickly she escaped and activated her stealth mode and moved swiftly downstairs to garage. So far caveira was winning. 2-0; one more point and she wins. Meanwhile, Nøkk carefully started to roam around the stairs and decided to go downstairs into the garage. As she walked downstairs where the boats were parked she felt a paint ball fly past her and splattered onto the wall. Luckily she crouched down and started to shoot towards the direction it came from hitting caveira's vest. 2-1.

Nøkk smirked underneath her drape knowing she was starting to catch up. Taína threw and impact at the garage as she walked out and waited. 10 minutes passed by as she charged in once again and went directly upstairs leading towards kids bedroom and construction. Nøkk heard the destruction of the barricaded door and left the bathroom. At the same time, caveira threw an impact grenade as her opponent walked onto a hatch; it detonated as the hatch opened up making her fall right through.

Caveira hopping down following her as she pulled her trigger leaving another splatter mark on her vest. The wood created dust as Nøkk, who was coughing, slowly sat up. Taína won. She was proud of herself. It was an easy round. Walking away without helping her up; the other expected her to help or at least said something. She only sighed and walked towards the helicopter. Defeated; so far yet so close to beating the most vital person of the team. Jäger tried making conversation involving the two of what happened but caveira never engaged.

"Good practice, caveira" she felt her heart beat faster as it felt like a risk she was taking just by talking to her. Of coarse she didn't responded and only rolled her eyes as she stared out the window. This was a waste of her time; she wanted a challenge not a newbie.
