"Maybe we could hang some lights up there? Last time we went with purple, so maybe green this time?" Ruby questioned as she observed the room.
"Yeah, green works," Aasim replied. "I'll go get them."
"Thanks, honey."
Today was the day. The big celebration to the kids' victory against the raiders. They had to admit, they all thought they'd never get to throw a party again. Omar was even cooking up a special dessert for it.
"So when's everyone showin up?" Willy inquired.
"Looks like we're just missing the blondie and brownie. God knows what they're up to. I'll go get 'em," Lou replied.
"Hey Willy, come help me with the lights," Aasim shouted.
"I'm comin," he shouted back. Surprisingly, they managed to work on the lights together in peace.
"So what did you guys exactly do last time for this party?"
"I don't know. Party things."
"Thanks, big help," Aasim joked.
"We read the kids' files for why they were sent here. It was fun at first, but then it got kinda depressing."
"Really? Whose?"
"Mine, which didn't go over too well. Ruby's. And then Violet shared why she was sent here. Now that I think of it, why were you sent here?"
"I used to light shit on fire."
"Wow. That's a way better reason than mine."
Aasim chuckled to himself and glanced at the boy. "Willy, everybody had a better reason than yours."
"I guess," he replied with a toothy grin.
"Yeah. I was on my way out of here, but then the world was taken over by walkers, and I got left here with you guys."
"Hey, we're not that bad."
"That's comin from you Mr. Chronic Masturbation."
"Yeah, yeah."

*Knock, knock, knock*
"Rise and shine, lovebirds. Your chariot awaits you," Louis jokingly yelled.
Clementine groggily woke up. She was a little dazed, but not enough to not be able to reciprocate Lou's jokes.
"Good morning, sir. Up and about are we already?" she replied with a polish accent. She turned to her right to find her girlfriend missing. "Oh, is Vi already there?" Clem asked with concern, instantly cutting the act.
"No, uh, I was sent here to pick you two up." Lou's words made Clementine begin to feel a little on edge. Louis noticed the worried look that took over Clem's usual smiling face and quickly tried to ease her.
"Gotta be around here somewhere. Probably just went to grab a few things to liven the party up," he uttered, trying to reassure her. Clem appreciated him trying to comfort her, but she had to go find her girlfriend herself.
"Yeah. I'll go look for her. You can head back to the party. Thanks, Lou."
"No problem, Clem."
The brunette got up, put on her jacket and hat, and went out to look for her girlfriend. Alright Vi. Where are you? You better not disappear on me, okay? Funny, that's what she told me before sneaking onto the boat, and now she's the one missing.
"Vi?" Clem yelled out. She was inside the school. She checked Tenn's old room. Not there. Marlon's office. Not there. She even walked out to go to the basement. Not there either. Her heart rate was starting to pick up. Normally, Violet would tell Clementine if she was leaving the school. The girl doubted that was the case.
