"Clem," Violet softly spoke, trying to wake the girl from her slumber.
"Have you ever heard of sleep, Vi? 'Cause this is what it looks like," Clementine joked back. The brunette was wrapped tightly in Violet's arms as the two girls were laying in bed. It was their final day at The Den. Through all the violence, bullets, trauma - it was nice to spend time with another group and its family.
"So today's the day?" Violet questioned as she shifted around in the bed.
"Yeah. As much as I'll miss this place, I miss our own bedroom even more."
"Me too. Do you think it's safe back at the school?" Violet asked with a hint of worry.
"Of course it's safe. Why wouldn't it be?"
"Well, we haven't exactly been there to defend it."
"True, but I'm sure Rosie's been holding the fortress down on her own," the brunette joked.
Violet laughed and smiled, kissing the top of Clem's head, which caused her girlfriend to rotate and face her. "There's the girl I love," she stated with a sweet smile.
"Heh, how's your stomach feeling? Any pain?"
"Nope. I've been feeling pretty good lately."
"I'm glad."
The sun began to peer through the window, its warmth setting over Clem and Vi. After a few more moments of peace and quiet between the two, they eventually figured they'd have to get up at some point. "Well, are you ready to go back home?" Violet questioned.
"Yeah. Let's get home to Texas Two," Clem replied with a smirk.

The kids all gathered around the gate, guns among bags of supplies being hauled by Louis and Aasim. Javier knew they were desperate, and he couldn't send them back empty-handed.
"So you're really leaving today, huh?" Javi asked the girl in the baseball cap as he approached the kids.
"Heh, yeah. Can't stay away from home for too long," Clementine responded, averting her attention to the baseball star.
"I hear that. Well you guys are always welcome here."
"Thanks, Javi. For everything."
The man nodded and smiled. "Actually, I don't think you should go quite yet." Clem led on a puzzled look, as well as the other kids.
"You're not sick of us yet?" Willy queried.
"Please. I think the proper way to say goodbye is to have a nice, friendly game of baseball."
Violet stifled a groan, wanting to just get back home.
"Now that's what I'm fucking talkin' about!" Louis beamed. All the kids, besides Violet, concurred.
"Sounds like a deal. You're on. Will walkers be an issue?" Clementine stated.
"Nah. We'll play where we hit before. Now I'll go grab Kate, Gabe, Jesus and Jax, and we'll be ready to dominate."
"In your dreams," the brunette threw back.
"Uh, guys? How am I supposed to play?" Willy stated, shaking his stump.
"Right, um. Can you catch with one hand?" Javier responded.
"I can try."
"Good, you can be catcher. Then I'll see you guys soon. If you want to get all your tears out now, I completely understand."
"Big talk for a guy who's about to get his ass kicked," Louis pointed out. Javier laughed and walked back to find his family. Louis set down the bags, walked up to Violet, and playfully pushed her shoulder. "You ready to play some ball?"
