Hurt. Betrayal. Broken. Alone. Anger.

Clementine's heart shattered into a million pieces as she watched the girl she loved attached to another person. Not just any person - Minnie, her ex. She knew from the moment Violet left with her something didn't feel right. Heat rushed to her cheeks, Vi's as well.

Violet stood up while Minerva remained on the bed, nothing but a devious smile stretching across her face. "Clementine, please, let me explain. It's not what it looks like," Violet desperately and shakily stated. She stared into her girlfriend's eyes, only to see them empty and dreary.

The light that was usually there was absent. Violet reached for her girlfriend's arms but Clementine retreated. "I can't believe you," the girl muttered as she left through the door, tears swelling in her eyes.

Violet turned to Minnie with her fists clenched together. "What the fuck, Minnie!" she yelled.

"Don't act like you didn't enjoy it. I'm sure you've missed me, and now that Clementine is out of the picture, you and I can be together again, like we were meant to be."

"No. Clementine and I are meant to be together. I'm in love with her, not you."

"Please, you can keep telling yourself that. You know it's not true."

"I knew you couldn't have changed. You're still the same selfish bitch you were before. Fuck you, Minerva. Go to hell," Violet exasperated while flipping her off. She crashed through the door to mend things with her girlfriend.

She spotted the girl almost reaching the gate, thankful she hadn't left just yet. "Clem, please, stop!" Violet ran in front of her, grasping her girlfriend's hands.

Clementine fiercely stared back at the girl she thought she once knew. "Do you really think I would do that to you? I love you god damn it!" Violet frantically explained. Both of their hearts were beating faster than lightning.

"Yeah, that's why you were making out with your ex-girlfriend!"

"Listen to me - she pulled me in. I wanted nothing to do with her. I tried to pull away, but then you showed up.." the blonde trailed off. Violet struggled to find the right words for her girlfriend, feeling guilty even though she had no right to be. "I didn't want to kiss her. I love you, and you're the only person I want to be with. I don't want to lose you, Clem, please."

Clementine dropped her girlfriend's hands and stifled back tears, every inch of her body aching. Staring coldly into Violet's light green eyes, the brunette affirmed, "you already have."

Suddenly Louis rushed to his two best friends as he spotted them. When he arrived, he saw Clementine piercing a glare at Vi, and Violet blankly staring into Clem's eyes. Clementine's words to Violet felt like a bullet tearing through her heart. She didn't just lose her girlfriend - she lost the love of her life, her soulmate, and her best friend. Tears brimmed both the girls' eyes.

"I couldn't help but overhear your guys' altercation. Everything.. okay?" Lou curiously asked.

No one responded.

Clem walked right past Violet and trudged back alone to Texas Two, not caring to look back at all. Louis gloomily turned to the poor blonde, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Vi.."

Silence was returned.

Violet brokenly watched as her girlfriend trailed back home. By then the other kids, Javier, and Jesus joined in the commotion. They all looked at each other, unaware with the situation. "What's going on?" Javi queried.

"Is there a problem?" Jesus questioned.

Disregarding their questions, Louis responded, "you know, I think we're going to head back. Thank you, for the supplies and treating Willy."
