Theo had been "asleep" for the past hour and they hadn't even started the process yet. Of course, Liam didn't have a choice in the matter, and had go with Scott, no matter what his opinion on the whole situation was.
Liam felt really awful, like terribly awful. Theo had just woken up and now they were risking his safety again, just to invade his personal space? It didn't feel right.
Nonetheless, he stood by his alpha's and made conversation with Lydia and Derek, who were there to reassure him and calm him down if things became too much for the beta.

Scott arrived half an hour later, with Stiles by his side. He probably missed his boyfriend, which was understandable. Either that, or he just wanted to be their to support his best friend. Liam could never tell the difference.
And then, Deaton was speaking.
"The two of you won't have long, maybe an hour at most. I want you both to try and find out as much inf-" Liam cut the doctor off with a shake of his head. "No."
"No?" Lydia, Derek and Stiles all said simultaneously.
"We're already invading his privacy! Theo deserves to keep his secrets, so I'll just go looking for whatever you need." It sure sounded like Liam wasn't going to change his mind on the whole plan.
"But I have to take you there!" Scott protested, worried for his youngest friend.
"Yeah, I know. You can just wait in the room that we wake up in?" Liam asked, hoping that his alpha would understand where he wad coming from. He would do anything to protect Theo, and he wanted to give the chimera what he wanted, which had always been privacy.
Reluctantly, Scott nodded and they both positioned themselves, Liam next to Theo and Scott behind them.
With a last look at Derek and Lydia, Liam smiled and then was overcome by the pain coursing through his body.

When he woke up, he was in a metal box. (a/n: I think you already know where this is going, sad face) It took him a moment to gather his strength and push at the wall behind his head, looking for a way out. Before Liam could even process what was happening, he fell and was met by a blinding light.
Scott was there, smiling down at him and offering his hand out. Liam took it.
Then, Scott pulled the beta into a quick hug, and then pulled back. He kept his hands on Liam's shoulders, though. "You be careful out there, yeah? This is Theo Raeken we're talking about."
Liam huffed and rolled his eyes, but nodded anyway. He knew that Scott only wanted him to stay safe, and so he was thankful.
Without turning back, Liam pushed the door open.

Liam was stood in the hospital hallway, the one where they had fought the ghost riders. A memory that Liam was so fond of, he would never forget it.
He had to strain himself to hear what was going on, and he could just about manage to follow the noise down to the end of the hallway, and what he saw frightened him.
A crying, scared version of the Theo he loved, being pushed into a wall by what could only be described as the girl from The Ring. Black, greasy hair covered her face, her clothes were ragged, her skin as white as paper. Tara.
Before he could stop what was happening, Liam was watching Theo crumple to the ground, a deep cave where his heart should be. Only then did he realise what had happened. Tara had taken her heart back.
Liam was absolutely terrified. He wanted to cry but he knew he didn't have time to. The figure, Theo's dead sister, turned to face Liam with a sickening smile on her face. That was enough to make him start running.
Running for his life.

what are your opinions on the whole situation?
I just wanted to clear a few things up:
- it has only been around 15 minutes since Liam entered Theo's head, and so the next chapter will be the same setting and format
- derek and Lydia are NOT together
