Chapter 22~ Its A.......?!

Dianne's POV:
We walked back to the sofa and I was super hungry. I asked Joe if he can make me dinner and being the amazing boyfriend he is, he said yes.

20 minutes later
Joe had cooked us dinner and I ate it super quickly and it didn't even fill me up. Well, I'm feeding for two I guess.

D: Baby?

J: Yea?

D: Can you believe we only have a couple more weeks left until we find out if it is a boy or a girl?

J: Is it that close?

D: Yeah! What do you think it is?

J: I think it's a girl.

D: I think it's a boy.

J: £20 bet?

D: Deal. What do you want it to be?

J: I would love it to be a girl. It would be as beautiful as you.

D: Thanks babe. I would love it if it was a girl aswell. I might go to bed now if that's alright with you.

J: That's fine with me babe. Have a good night sleep. Love you.

D: Love you to.

Joe got up and kissed me goodnight. He took me upstairs because he was really paranoid today that I would faint. I don't know why though.

3 weeks later
I woke up so excited for today. It was our little beans gender reveal! I was the first one awake because Joe likes to sleep in and I am a morning person. I decorated the porch with blue and pink balloons and we have poppers for all the guests to use. Joe and I have a massive balloon that's going to be filled up with blue or pink confetti. Amy is coming round to find out what gender it is so she can fill up the balloons and fill up with the right colour in the poppers. She is as excited as us today.  I heard a noise from upstairs. It was Joe finally waking up. He came downstairs and greeted me and little bean. He came up behind me and put his arms around my waist and swayed me from side to side. I heard the door ring. I went to move towards the door but Joe stopped me.

J: Babe, have a rest on the sofa for a little while. Bean is probably killing your back.

D: But I want to se-

J: No. Sit down please.

I sat down reluctantly and moodily. Amy came through the door.

D: Amy!!!!

I went to get up again but Joe stopped me again.

J: No! Sit down! What have I told you babe!

D: Ugh!

A: I see someone is a bit overprotective now.

J: Well, I want her to be healthy and not hurt herself. Bean is getting a little bit heavy for her.

A: Can I have the envelope please.

J: Yeah. That's fine. Babe! Where is it?

D: It should be on my bedroom table.

J: Ok.

Joe went upstairs and got the envelope. He gave it to Amy.

D: Omg! Joe!

J: What?!

D: Bean has just kicked me!

A: Aww! How cute!

J: Amy?

A: Yes.

J: Would you like to put the confetti in them on the porch with the curtains shut or upstairs?
