Chapter 24~ The Arrival

Time Skip to 4/5 months later.
Dianne's POV:
It was the middle of the night and I had to go to the toilet. I got up and walked to the bathroom. I sat on the toilet and felt a gush if water come out of me. But then, I realised. My water has broke. Bean is on her way to meet us. I walked out of the bathroom with water still dripping down my legs and walked to the bed. I woke Joe up.

D: Babe!

J: Yeah?

D: Bean is on her way! My water has broke!

Joe leaped out of the bed and ran to grab my birth bag. He grabbed my hand and sat me down on the bed. He put on a t-shirt and some trousers and we went downstairs. I text Amy about it.

D: It's happening Amy!

A: Have you gone into labour?!

D: My water has broke. We are on our way to the hospital now.

A: Good luck babes. 😊💞 Tell me when I can come and meet the special one.

D: I will 💖 Thanks Amy. Bye 😊

A: Bye 💕

Joe grabbed my hand again and took me to the door.

J: Have we got everything?

D: Hopefully, yes.

J: Ok right. Let's go to the hospital.

We walked out and went to the elevator. When we got outside, I felt a painful slash across my stomach. 'This is it' I thought. I grabbed ahold of my stomach and bent down. Joe turned around and saw me doing this.

J: Babe?!

D: I think the contractions are starting. It really hurts.

J: Right, take my hand and we will go to the car together. We will go to the hospital and they will put you in the delivery room. Ok?

D: Yeah.

These contractions were really painful. When we got into the car, I started to cry.

D: I can't do this anymore Joe. It's so painful!

J: You will get through it babe. You are strong and can get through anything. Just think that after all of this pain will bring you happiness and joy for the rest of your life.

D: Ok.

When we were round the corner from the hospital, another gush of water came out of me and made my trousers soaked. I grabbed the towel out of my birth bag and put it in between my legs.  We parked our car and got out. Another contraction started and it wasn't as bad as the others. We walked through the massive double doors of the hospital and signed ourselves in. We got directed to the labour and delivery ward and I was super scared. I got connected to a bunch of machines and I started to panic. Joe saw in my eyes I was panicking and he started to calm me down.

J: Gorgeous. I can see in your eyes you are panicking. Please don't panic. I hate seeing you panic. Bean is only doing this because she wants to see her mummy. She wants to come as quick as possible. Plus, all these machines are helping you so nothing bad happens to you during the birth. 

D: Yeah, I know that.

J: Don't get moody with me mrs.

D: I'm not getting moody. This is what happens to me when I'm stressed and you know that.

J: I was only joking babe. Sorry.

D: It's alright gorgeous.

3 hours later
A massive pain went across my stomach and I started to scream. I knew from this moment on she was almost here.
